Post Malone didn’t hold back on the cost of his engagement ring. The “Circles” singer proposed to former Parsons School of Design student Christy Lee earlier in August. The news was first reported by TMZ after Lee’s friend Marina Hollyer posted photos of the couple announcing their engagement. The pictures featured Lee flashing the ring her fiancée offered her, but its value wasn’t known until now.
Post Malone’s jewelers, Isaac Bokhoor and Sam Tack’s Angel City Jewelers, have now posted a closer look at the ring on Instagram. The ring is confirmed to be over 20 carats, according to PEOPLE’s estimates.
Post Malone’s Engagement Ring Is Likely Worth Well Over $1 Million
The glamorous rock’s estimated value was brought up by PEOPLE to industry experts. The outlet approached Olivia Landau, founder of The Clear Cut, who gave a very ambitious price range. According to Landau, the ring can easily be worth between $1 to 2 million. That might sound incredible at first, but further estimates reached even higher.
PEOPLE also asked Ali Galgano, founder of New York and Greenwich-based fine jewelry house Serpentine Jewels. Galgano provided a much more ambitious estimate of over $2.5 million for the ring. She called it “unapologetically a big-diamond engagement ring,” comparing it to the sizes found in celebrity rings from the 2000s.
Angel City Jewelers’ Instagram account provided a close-up of the ring from multiple angles. They also posted a video of the ring where the huge diamond can be seen glistening under the light. Additionally, the post features another photo of Post Malone and Christy Lee after the proposal. Lee cuddles up to her fiancée and kisses his forehead while holding up her hand to show the ring on her finger.
Post Malone Was Engaged Once Before To The Mother Of His Child
This isn’t the first time Post Malone has popped the question. The rapper was earlier engaged to Hee Sung “Jamie” Park. Post Malone had revealed the engagement along with the birth of his daughter with Park in 2022. He had proposed to her in Las Vegas in 2021. Details behind the pair’s relationship were scarce, and she was identified after their split.
Post Malone and Jamie Park ended their relationship in 2024. The former couple had filed documents in court in April 2025 over the custody of their daughter. According to these documents, the child remains primarily under Park’s care. Post Malone has visitation rights; he has “DDP” tattooed on his forehead, his daughter’s initials.
Post Malone’s romance with Christy Lee was equally low-key in the early stages of their relationship. Lee is a fashion stylist and creative director, and was first spotted with Post Malone in Paris in March 2025. The rapper rarely speaks publicly about his romantic life, and how the pair first met is still unknown.
Further commenting on the ring, Ali Galgano said that the expensive price tag is “fun” because “that kind of maximalism” has somewhat faded out from celebrities. Elsewhere, Usain Bolt also recently became engaged to his long-time girlfriend. The former sprinter proposed with a 5-carat ring to his partner of 13 years.
