As Rihanna recovers emotionally (and seemingly adds extra security) after a woman alledgedly fired a gun multiple times at the home the singer shares with her partner, A$AP Rocky, and their three young children, the accused has just been handed down a very serious consequence that will have a major impact on her life moving forward.
Along with not being able to go near Rihanna’s home and facing a massive amount for bail, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz will no longer be able to legally do her job.
The Accused Has Lost Her Professional SLP License
“The woman charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at Rihanna’s home officially lost her license to practice speech-language pathology” (SLP), TMZ reported on Monday, March 30.
Beyond that, TMZ also obtained new legal documents that show “Ivanna Lisette Ortiz is also barred from going near Rihanna or the singer’s family, and her bail remains set at $1,875,000.”
“Ortiz allegedly squeezed off multiple shots at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home with an AR-15 style rifle earlier this year … all while RiRi, A$AP Rocky, and their kids were inside,” per TMZ.
According to documents via TMZ, “Ortiz [was] licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state” of California; however, following the incident, “a member of the board that oversees licensing in her field want[ed] her barred from practicing if she’s released from law enforcement custody.”
Ortiz earned her SLP license back in April 2016, and was set to keep it until June 2027.
Losing her SLP license comes after “Ortiz pleaded not guilty to all 14 charges against her … including one count of attempted murder, 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and three counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling,” per TMZ.
What Is a Speech-Language Pathologist?

The Mayo Clinic adds that “SLPs work with people from birth through old age. They work with small children who are having trouble talking or understanding what’s being communicated. They work with people who have difficulty communicating because of developmental disorders, brain injuries, head and neck cancers and neurological conditions.”
McMaster University also explains that “Speech-Language Pathologists are autonomous rehabilitation health professionals with specialized knowledge, skills and clinical training in the prevention, screening, identification, assessment, and management of communication and swallowing disorders.”

What were the criminal’s motive? I guess it doesn’t matter, it were the actions that resulted the conquence which is YOU GOT TO DO THE JAILTIME.
Had to be making a lot of money doing the job that She was doing and had to be stupid and try to do harm to a famous family. It doesn’t make sense to try to figure out what She was thinking, whatever it was it was definitely Stupid!!! Now She has not only lost Her job, She can never work in that field if She ever gets out of jail.
