Victoria Justice is known for a few things. That includes her talent for acting, her skill when it comes to singing and her brown hair. Although she’s tried out a few shades as a brunette, she doesn’t tend to stray far from her roots. That is, until she decided to go blonde.
Hopping onto Instagram to share a few videos and photos of herself to mark the release of her new holiday music, you surely can’t help but notice that her hair has gone from a dark brown to a bright blonde.
“Although it’s likely just a wig, Justice’s bleached curls are a dramatic departure from her usual deep brown hair, which she has been rocking since she first landed on the scene as Lola Martinez in ‘Zoey 101,'” according to InStyle.
In the caption of one post, she wrote, “Santa Darlin’ is officially yours 🥹🎄✨ (along with a little lyric video). I’m so happy to finally share this one with you. I’ve always loved Christmas music, and I’m really proud of this little Christmas ditty I wrote with the insanely talented @tobygadmusic & @willjaymusic 🙏🏼”
“It’s soft and nostalgic, with ukulele and a hint of Hawaiian guitar — and it just feels very me,” she continued. “I hope it becomes a cozy part of your holiday season. ❄️”
After offering a little more background on the song, she signed her message with: “X’s & O’s, Vic 💋🎄”
She also popped in some credits, including the person who did her hair, writing, “Hair: @laurarugetti”
Followers Were Charmed by Victoria’s Blonde Hair
Victoria’s blonde hair may have been a big change, but it seems to have paid off. A fair share of her social media followers loved the look.
One person wrote, “Gorgeousssss😍”
“Woah! You as a blonde is kinda hot dude,” another person said in a comment.
A third person wrote, “Blonde is looking good on you[.]”
“I mean … the gorgeousness,” came from someone else.

Victoria Wasn’t One to ‘Go too Bold’ With Her Look
GettyWhile going blonde is a dramatic move for Victoria, it’s also a big change which is something new for the star.
“Victoria Justice kicked off her acting career at the ripe age of 10, so she’s practically grown up in the spotlight,” Teen Vogue noted back in February 2016. “From her supporting role on ‘Zoey 101’ to headlining ‘Victorious,’ this girl knows how to play the part. She’s an actress, singer, and philanthropist, but with her chestnut brown hair, bold brows, and penchant for classic looks, she’s also become a major beauty icon.”
At the time, Teen Vogue also pointed out: “She’s not one to go too bold with hair or makeup, but she is the master of making subtle changes to her trademark look. She’s had short hair, long hair, bangs, and bright lips, but she always makes sure she looks like herself.”
Now, it seems like she’s decided to take a big leap and opt for a brand new look… at least for the holidays.
