Without a doubt, the funniest place in the world on May 7, 2026, had to be the star-studded Netflix is a Joke brunch held at the Los Angeles home of Netflix chief Ted Sarandos and his wife, Nicole Avant.
As dozens of the biggest names in comedy gathered in one spot, Jerry Seinfeld’s wife, Jessica Seinfeld, captured an epic photo of him with three fellow comedy legends – David Letterman, Eddie Murphy, and Chris Rock. Admitting that they were “annoyed” to have to pose for a picture, Jessica said she simply couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
Fans Go Wild for Photo of Eddie Murphy, David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld & Chris Rock
The brunch was part of the biennial Netflix Is a Joke comedy festival, with a full schedule of comedy shows and events in L.A., according to The Independent. Comedy royalty gathered at Sarandos and Avant’s $15 million home for the exclusive brunch, the outlet reported.
“Yes of course they were annoyed but worth it for this shot,” Jessica quipped as she posted the rare pic of her husband Jerry, 72, with fellow legends Murphy, 65, Letterman, 79, and Rock, 61.
Fans and famous friends could not get over seeing the “epic” foursome together, flooding her comment section with shocked reactions, including one who called it the “Mount Rushmore” of comedy.
“That’s quite the photo,” another wrote. “Legends. All of them.”
Netflix is a Joke’s social media account later posted a similar photo of the foursome, as well as other pics from the event, which it dubbed “The Afternoon of Too Many Stars.” Other photos featured in the carousel included one of Rock posing with Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle, another of “SNL” alum Molly Shannon and Leanne Morgan, and a pic of Jon Stewart with John Mulaney and Luenell.
