If you were disappointed when Jonathan Bailey failed to appear in the first part of “Bridgerton” Season 4, then you can rest assured that you’ll be seeing his beloved character, Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, soon enough. In fact, you can get a sneak peek of the actor in the second part of the season thanks to the fact that Netflix has just revealed photos of the star in the upcoming episodes.
“Dearest gentle reader, it pleases us to inform you: #JonathanBailey is baaaaack! 🥵,” People wrote in the caption of an Instagram post featuring the new pics.
The caption continued, “Netflix dropped a first look at part 2 of #Bridgerton season 4 — and head of the household Anthony Bridgerton (who’s been crowned PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive since we last saw him on the show!) is looking mighty fine. 🖤 Now let’s see our girl #SimoneAshley, too!”
In the first photo, Bailey can be seen as Anthony as he does business via candlelight.
A second photo of Bailey shows Anthony talking to his mother, Violet, Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton.
The third shot of Anthony sees him sitting in a chair with a pensive expression on his face.
A fourth photo of the character shows the oldest Bridgerton sibling spending time with his brothers, Benedict and Colin.

Jonathan Bailey Will ‘Always Pop Back’ on ‘Bridgerton’
While talking to The Hollywood Reporter in November 2024, well before the release of “Bridgerton” Season 4, Bailey “showed some love for his onscreen brother, Luke Thompson, and the … season four leading cast addition, Yerin Ha. Bridgerton’s fourth season will follow the pair’s love story, following in the format of seasons past.”
Bailey explained to THR, “There’s going to be lots of space for new people to come in and Luke and Yerin are gonna be great, so I’ll always pop back and say hello.”
