Kevin Hart is preparing to take center stage in a different role — as the target of a live roast event.
“The Roast of Kevin Hart” is set to stream live as part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest 2026. The event will feature Hart, who has built a career on comedy and hosting, stepping into the spotlight as others take the mic.
The roast will be hosted by Shane Gillis and will air live on May 10 at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix. It will take place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
While the full lineup has not yet been confirmed, anticipation is building around who could appear on the dais.

So far, Hart and Gillis are the only confirmed participants. However, speculation continues about potential guests.
One name that has surfaced is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is known to have a long-standing friendship with Hart. The two have worked together on multiple projects and frequently appear together in public.
Meanwhile, Nikki Glaser, who was a standout performer at the 2024 roast of Tom Brady, has confirmed she will not attend due to a scheduling conflict.

Ludacris is also part of Hart’s close circle. The two have maintained a long-standing friendship and frequently travel together with their families.
