Megan Walerius (aka Sparkle Megan) made one of the biggest announcements of the night less than ten minutes into the “Love Is Blind” season 9 reunion on Netflix: less than three months prior, she gave birth to a baby boy.

Megan’s announcement sent shockwaves through both the audience and the cast, as no one had any idea that she had been pregnant, much less given birth. Still, everyone was happy for the new mom. Megan’s partner, Paul, was in the audience for the reunion.
According to Megan, she and Paul “got pregnant 3 months into dating,” which explains how she’s already given birth since filming “Love Is Blind” season 9. At the end of her “Love Is Blind” journey, Megan questioned if she was meant to be a mom, having met her fiancé’s, Jordan Keltner, son and realizing how difficult parenting really is.
Luckily, having a child has changed Megan’s tune completely. She’s now sure this is the life that was meant for her, even acknowledging some of the lessons parenthood has already taught her.
“I’m definitely learning to be a lot more selfless,” Megan said at the reunion.
Although her fellow cast members were shocked, having had no idea Megan was pregnant, some photos showing Megan with a man, whom we now know is Paul, and a baby were released a week prior to the reunion. Megan made a big splash on “Love Is Blind” season 9 with her quirky nickname and her ability to create so many genuine connections. Ultimately, Megan decided to accept an engagement from Jordan, figuring the other men she talked to in the pods were too similar to her exes.
Megan and Jordan seemed like a strong couple, and Jordan introduced the entrepreneur to his young son. The two even toured houses together, discussing which home they wanted to move into together.
Unfortunately, their love burned bright and fast, and Megan called of the relationship before the wedding day. Jordan seemed hurt, even shedding some tears over the situation. Although Megan was the one to end the engagement, she too was upset, crying during her final confessional.
Luckily, she’s now found love and fulfilled her life goal of becoming a mother.
