Kevin Hart and Eniko Hart are celebrating a major relationship milestone, and they have the throwbacks to prove it.
The couple marked their 10th wedding anniversary on Aug. 13, with Eniko sharing a sweet Instagram tribute featuring 16 photos from throughout their years together, including snapshots from their early relationship and wedding day.
“Year 10!” Eniko, 41, began before wishing a happy anniversary to the man who “still gives me butterflies.”
She called Kevin, 47, her “best friend + partner in everything” while also getting candid about their journey.
“Our journey isn’t perfect but it’s OURS,” she wrote. “Cheers to more life, more love, + endless memories.”
Eniko ended the post by telling her husband she loved him and noting that the couple are now “17 years + counting.”
Kevin kept his response sweet, with a little humor. The comedian reposted his wife’s tribute to his Instagram Stories and joked about how quickly their decade of marriage has passed.
“10yrs…. F—… we are getting old,” he wrote, adding, “I love that we are doing it together…. Love you forever girl.”
Eniko simply responded, “locked in!”
Kevin and Eniko Hart Have Been Together for 17 Years
While the Harts are celebrating 10 years of marriage, their love story goes back much further.
Kevin and Eniko met at a nightclub in Washington, D.C., in 2009. Eniko later recalled their first meeting in the Netflix docuseries “Kevin Hart: Don’t F**k This Up,” saying there was an immediate connection.
The pair got engaged in 2014 when Kevin proposed on Eniko’s birthday and married two years later in California on Aug. 13, 2016. Kevin’s son Hendrix served as best man.
Kevin and Eniko welcomed son Kenzo in November 2017 and daughter Kaori in September 2020. Kevin is also dad to daughter Heaven and son Hendrix, whom he shares with ex-wife Torrei Hart.
The couple appeared to get an early start on their anniversary celebration overseas. Kevin shared photos from Château de la Croix des Gardes in Cannes, France, on Aug. 12, writing, “Great times with mine in the most beautiful place in the world.”
Kevin Hart Has Been Open About Their Marriage’s Ups and Downs
Eniko’s acknowledgment that their journey has not been “perfect” comes after the couple have publicly discussed difficult chapters in their marriage.
Their relationship was tested in 2017 when Kevin became involved in a cheating scandal while Eniko was pregnant with Kenzo. He publicly apologized to his wife and family after revealing that someone was attempting to extort him over a sexually suggestive video.
Eniko later said she felt “publicly humiliated” but ultimately chose to stay and work on their marriage. According to Parade, Kevin has since credited his wife with holding him accountable and helping him grow.
Their family faced another frightening moment in 2019 when Kevin suffered serious injuries in a car accident and underwent emergency surgery. He later said the experience gave him a new appreciation for his family.
Years later, Kevin continues to publicly recognize Eniko’s role in his life. In 2024, he called her the “backbone” of their household, and ahead of their milestone anniversary, he expressed gratitude for where they are today.
“We’re excited that we’re still here, that we’re still together, that we’re still growing an amazing household and family,” Kevin said.
