On Sunday, August 24, “Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev and fiancé Shaun White were spotted at a Los Angeles farmer’s market enjoying a low-key date. The actress, 36, wore a belted black maxi dress, while White, 38, kept casual in khaki shorts, a white T-shirt, and a matching baseball cap.
The Couple Enjoy a Farmer’s Market Date With Their Dog
The couple walked hand-in-hand through the busy stalls, accompanied by their well-behaved dog, Maverick.
They picked up a bouquet of flowers and shared an ice cream treat, looking happy and relaxed as they browsed.
Dobrev-White’s Sweet Love Story
Dobrev and White first met in 2019 at a Tony Robbins workshop in Florida. The two quickly connected, and by May 2020, they went public with their relationship in an Instagram post.
Over the next several years, they became one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, balancing her career as an actress with his life as a decorated Olympic snowboarder.
An Elaborate Proposal That Took Dobrev by Surprise
White proposed to Dobrev in October 2024 after five years of dating, and he made sure the moment was unforgettable. According to Vogue, he came up with an elaborate plan designed to catch her completely off guard.

When she arrived, the only people waiting for her were White and a photographer.
“He said all the right things,” Dobrev told Vogue. White later announced the engagement on Instagram with a series of photos captioned, “She said YES.” Dobrev shared the same images, playfully writing, “RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé.”
Her stunning 5-carat diamond engagement ring was visible once again during their latest public outing.
Wedding Planning & What’s Next

He added that they’ve been gathering advice from friends who’ve gone through the process. “We’ve gotten a lot of advice from different people who have planned their own weddings… so we’re definitely gathering information and now trying to see what’s going to work best for us.”

Since stepping away from competition after the 2022 Beijing Olympics, White has focused on life beyond snowboarding, closing his career with three Olympic gold medals.
