A new Paramount+ show starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell called “The Madison” will officially premiere on March 14, 2026, according to Deadline. Here are photos from the upcoming “Yellowstone” spin-off show.
“The Madison,” created by Taylor Sheridan, is a neo-Western drama following a New York City family after they relocate to the Madison River valley in Montana. According to Entertainment Tonight, the family makes the move out west after a tragedy, although we don’t yet know the details.
The series is the fifth “Yellowstone” spin-off, following the original series, “1883,” “1983,” and “The Marshalls.” Season one of the new Sheridan show will only have six episodes, but it has already been renewed for season two.

ParamountPfeiffer plays the matriarch of the main family, the Clyburns. Her character, Stacy, has two daughters, played by Elle Chapman and Beau Garrett. Based on the photos from Paramount+, the characters in “The Madison” seem to spend a lot of time in nature. The outdoorsy shots are in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of New York City, which could provide for some interesting fish-out-of-water moments.

Pfeiffer may be best known for her film roles, including “Scarface,” “New Year’s Eve,” and Amazon Prime’s recent Christmas movie, “Oh. What. Fun.,” but “The Madison” won’t be her first foray into television. In fact, Pfeiffer has already been nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for her work in “The Wizard of Lies.”
Kurt Russell in ‘The Madison’
ParamountRussell plays Preston Clyburn, Stacy’s husband. Beyond that, we don’t know much about his character. On IMDb, he’s listed as a cast member, but we don’t know how many episodes he will be in, a contrast to Pfeiffer, who’s listed as performing in all six episodes.
In the Paramount+ photos, Russell appears to be at home in the wilderness. One still shows him fishing with a huge smile on his face, while another shows him sitting on a rock in a beautiful river, seemingly calm. Unfortunately, Paramount+ has yet to release any photos of Russell and Pfeiffer together on set.
Paramount“The Madison” won’t be the first time Russell and Pfeiffer are working together. In 1988, they both starred in “Tequila Sunrise,” a romantic crime movie in which Russell accidentally falls in love with Pfeiffer while investigating someone close to her.
