Britani Bateman gave an update on her on-and-off relationship with Jared Osmond. And while it’s currently “off,” it’s also all good.
In August 2025, “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star told The Daily Dish she is currently “friends” with the nephew of Donny and Marie Osmond. “We’re friends. But, you know, you’ll have to see how it plays out this season. Because it does play out this season,” she teased.
Bateman also described RHOSLC Season 6 as the “most crazy, explosive season ever,” adding, “I would say it’s the spiciest, diciest season ever — in the history of the franchise.”
Britani Bateman’s Tumultuous Relationship Was a Storyline on RHOSLC Season 5
In 2024, Bateman was introduced on the RHOSLC Season 5 premiere, titled “Costumes or Couture,” where it was also revealed that she was divorced and was dating Osmond.
In a confessional, series star Heather Gay gushed over Bateman’s connection to Utah’s most famous musical family. “She is dating Jared Osmond, as in ‘Osmond’ Osmonds,” Gay said of Bateman. “The nephew of Donny and Marie. Which, in the Mormon culture is the equivalent of dating Prince Harry.”
But the couple broke up multiple times, and Osmond repeatedly described his relationship with Bateman as “best friends.” One of the most awkward RHOSLC scenes featured Osmond crashing a party that Bateman brought another date to. Osmond claimed he really wanted to “see” Bateman, which set the tears flowing.
In late October 2024, Bateman appeared on the RHOSLC Aftershow and revealed that she and Osmond had been broken up for three months. It’s unclear when they got back together, but they appeared to be back together over the holidays, as seen on Instagram last Christmas.
In June 2025, Bateman told Us Weekly that she and Osmond had just split again one week prior. “We just don’t want the same things,” Bateman explained. “I gave him a list of what I need out of a relationship to make it work and he said, ‘I can’t comply,’” she said. “I said, ‘OK, well, come back to me when you’re ready to.’ I’m single as of a week ago.”
Bateman also teased that everyone’s relationship drama would play out on camera. “Be prepared for every relationship to change dynamics,” she added. “It literally is the most explosive, divisive, unpredictable, jaw-dropping season. … I really think that we knocked it out of the park as a group.”
Lisa Barlow Described RHOSLC Season 6 as ‘Diabolical’
In addition to Bateman, the sixth season of RHOSLC will star Gay, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Mary Cosby, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, and Bronwyn Newport.
In an interview with the Daily Dish, Barlow said the new season of RHOSLC stands apart from past seasons. “This new season is so different,” she said. “Some parts are diabolical, some parts are really sad, some parts are frustrating. I mean, it’s a really good season, but it feels very different from all of our other seasons.”
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 6 premieres Sept. 16 on Bravo.
