Denise Richards isn’t letting that messy divorce from Aaron Phypers slow her down or lessen her shine. The actress hit the red carpet at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Aug. 30, 2025, to pay tribute to one of her most iconic roles.
The actress had her daughters, Sami and Eloise, at her side for a special screening of the 1999 cult classic hit, “Drop Dead Gorgeous.” Later, Denise took to Instagram to share some snaps from the special evening.

The actress looked absolutely stunning in a slick black outfit, and her carousel of photos included a sweet candid shot with her youngest daughter, Eloise.
Denise captioned her Instagram post, “About last night… big thanks to @academymuseum for letting us relive the camp and chaos of #DropDeadGorgeous on the big screen! Rebecca Leeman would be so proud.”
Denise and Aaron’s Divorce Drama Continues
GettyAccording to TMZ, Denise recently moved to force her ex, Aaron Phypers, and his family out of a shared property so that she could collect her belongings. She filed court documents asking a judge to force her ex to vacate the property for eight hours so that she could retrieve her pets, clothing, and items that had belonged to her late mother.
The actress has shared that she stopped making payments on the rental property in January 2025. The landlord had demanded that the property be vacated by August 2025, so Denise was determined to get her last personal items from the residence.
Will Denise Return to RHOBH Full-Time?
GettyWhile her personal life is in a bit of an upheaval, Denise’s career is going just fine. In early August, the actress returned to her old stomping ground and was seen filming for “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” A source from the series told PEOPLE, “Denise still has a lot of connections within the cast of RHOBH even though she’s no longer a Housewife.”
“She’s filmed scenes throughout the years before. She’s tight with Sutton, has maintained a good relationship with Kyle [Richards], and even mended fences with Erika recently. So it made sense for her to come and film again, and share her side of the story since the news has been a topic of conversation off-camera among this friendship circle,” continued the source.
