“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley both surprised and delighted fans by debuting an unexpected new hairstyle alongside an update on her two children.
“Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice…”
Dorit went all out for the Halloween season when she dressed up as the character Lydia Deetz from Tim Burton’s 1988 horror-comedy “Beetlejuice.” She posted a carousel of photos to her Instagram on November 2 to document the spooky holiday.
Dorit took inspiration from Lydia’s most iconic outfit by wearing a long, flowy black dress and a black wig that was backcombed and styled to create sharp, pointed bangs. Her son Jagger Kemsley and her daughter Phoenix Kemsley went along with the theme by sporting coordinating costumes.
Phoenix dressed as Lydia’s daughter, Astrid Deetz, wearing a shimmery gray dress with a high neck and a similar black wig that matched her mom’s 80’s goth hairdo.
Jagger was the most recognizable character from the film. He dressed as Beetlejuice himself, wearing a black and white pinstripe suit and an unkempt green and white wig.
The three posed in front of a few backdrops from the film that really brought their looks together.
The Instagram post was a rare look at the Kemsley family as Dorit and her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemlsey, continue to live apart.
In September, Dorit gave fans a glimpse into their extravagant Beverley Hills lifestyle with another Instagram carousel of photos captioned, “lately 💋.”
The post included a photo of Jagger and Phoenix’s first day back to school, Jagger and Phoenix sound asleep in their pajamas, which hilariously mirrored the following photo of their dogs also passed out on the couch, and a video of the kids roasting marshmallows to make s’mores.
