Jen Shah is checking off another meaningful first since returning home.
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” alum recently headed back to the sidelines to support her husband, Sharrieff “Coach” Shah, sharing on social media that she attended one of his college football games for the first time since her release.
For Shah, the outing represented more than another Saturday of football. It marked the return of a family tradition she had been unable to experience in person while she was away.
Jen Shah Returns to the Football Sidelines
Shah documented the milestone on social media, revealing that she was attending her first game since returning home.
Her husband has spent years coaching college football and currently works on the University of Utah football staff. Sharrieff serves as associate head coach, cornerbacks coach and special teams coordinator for the Utes.
Long before viewers met the couple on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” football was already a major part of the Shah family’s life. Sharrieff joined Utah’s coaching staff in 2012 after previously working as an attorney, and Jen regularly supported her husband and the program before her incarceration.
That made her latest trip to a game a particularly notable moment in her return to everyday family life.
Shah was released from federal custody in December 2025 after serving nearly three years of a 6½-year sentence. She had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in 2022 and began serving her sentence in February 2023. Cameras closely followed Shah and her legal journey on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look of what her and the entire Shah family went through.
Since coming home, Shah has gradually offered followers glimpses into her life with her family again.
Jen Shah Has Been Reuniting With Family Since Her Return
Shah’s reunion with Sharrieff and their two sons, Sharrieff Jr. and Omar, has been a major part of the former Housewife’s life since her return.
Her latest football outing adds another milestone to that list.
Sharrieff was a familiar presence throughout Shah’s three seasons on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” often serving as a steadying force for his wife as cameras followed their family. The couple has been married since 1994 and recently celebrated 32 years.
Shah was an original cast member when “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” premiered in 2020. Her legal troubles later became a major storyline on the Bravo series, though she did not return for Season 4 after beginning her sentence.
Whether Shah will ever make her way back onto the Bravo screen remains unknown. For now, however, she’s continuing to share pieces of her life after returning home, and her latest update brought her back to a place that has long been familiar to the Shah family: the football field.
Meanwhile, Season 7 of RHOSLC is set to premiere on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
