Lisa Rinna isn’t afraid to cause a stir with her style choices, which she proved once again while attending the amfAR Gala Cannes event on Thursday, May 21. Following an appearance that saw the “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum step out with curls that were compared to Shirley Temple, she has shown up with a bleach blonde bouffant that has sparked quite a buzz.
Lisa’s Hair Reached New Heights of Style
GettyWhile Rinna’s choice of hairstyle might not suit a trip to the grocery store or dropping the kids off at school, it was perfectly ideal for the event that she was attending.
As Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) pointed out, “Hair and makeup settled somewhere between gimmicky and glamorous outside Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday night, where a star-studded lineup of attendees gathered for the annual amfAR Gala Cannes, presented by Chopard.”

GettyWearing “a spikey, rainbow-colored Germanier Couture gown” from the Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture collection, WWD notes that “Rinna swapped her pixie for a bleached, bouffant wig by Johan Hellstrom on Thursday night’s red carpet.” Or rather, lilac-colored carpet.
“The hairpiece was similar to the one she donned at The Fashion Awards late last year, only this one had a bit more volume at the roots,” WWD explains.

GettyAs for the rest of her glam look, WWD points out that Rinna “kept her brows in their natural brown shade this time, opting against the barely there look. Under the brows, her eyes were hollowed in heavy black shadow, while her lips were dressed in a matte nude hue thanks to makeup artist Linda Hallberg.”
Rinna shared a few photos and videos of her look on Instagram, and wrote, “@amfar baby @hotelducapedenroc What a Magical Evening!!!! Wearing @kevingermanier & @steferejewelry 💚✨”

While Rinna previously explained that her look for the “Stop! That! Train!” premiere was inspired by a Madonna and Doja Cat vibe, she just shared a video that showed off her striking amfAR Gala hairstyle and added a caption, writing, “Channeling the fabulous Carmen Dell’Orefice last night 💚 #Cannes”
For those who aren’t aware, Dell’Orefice, 94, is an iconic American model who first appeared on the cover of Vogue when she was just 15 years old and has been in the business ever since. In fact, “she is considered the oldest working model,” according to My Modern Met.
Along with being known for her incredible career and striking appearance, Dell’Orefice is also often associated with her stunning white hair, which she occasionally wears in big, bold and beautiful styles.
