“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Kim Richards was spotted during a rare public outing months after her eviction issue involving her sister, Kyle Richards.
In a photo obtained by TMZ, Kim was seen sitting on a park bench near the Santa Monica Pier on Friday. The former child star wore a cowboy hat and red dress, with one of her boots removed, leaving her bare foot exposed.
Kim was seemingly working on a painting and appeared none too happy when she realized she was being photographed.

While the photo may raise concerns about Kim’s current living situation, TMZ reported that sources familiar with the situation said she is not homeless.
The outlet added that Kim’s sister, Kyle, reportedly arranged for her to stay at a place in Santa Monica near the beach. Sources also claimed that the former “RHOBH” star continues to have her ups and downs.
In January 2025, Kyle reportedly took legal action against Kim, seeking her eviction from her two-bedroom Encino condo after previously asking her to move out in late 2024.
At the time, TMZ reported that Kim did not respond to the lawsuit, and a judgment was entered in March 2025 ordering her to surrender the property.
Additional court documents obtained by the outlet revealed that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve Kim with the judgment in June 2025, but she had already moved out of the property by the time deputies arrived.

GettyKim’s latest sighting quickly sparked reactions from fans online. One fan wrote, “Kim was such a big part in Beverly Hills most iconic moments. Her presence was missed in the RHUGT 20.”
Someone commented, “I think it is very sweet and honestly productive that she has taken up painting. A nice way to reduce stress and maybe utilize some of her creative ideas.”
Another added, “I still remember her as the little girl from ‘Escape to Witch Mountain’ as a kid. Those movies were every little girl’s favorite show other than Pippi Longstocking. Anyone remember this? She still looks like her.”
In December 2025, Kyle revealed that Kim was doing “good” and living her best life as a grandmother in Florida. During an interview with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025, Kyle also shared that she had witnessed firsthand how close-knit her sister’s family is.
“She has the most beautiful grandchildren I’ve ever seen; they’re unbelievable, and I’m really close with them, and I love them so much,” Kyle said at the time. “I just went to Kim’s granddaughter’s little Halloween thing at school, and it was so fun to go and see, and have that relationship with them is nice.”
Kyle also reassured that Kim was doing “better than the last time that there was stuff in the press.”
Kim is reportedly set to reunite with her “Nanny and the Professor” co-star Juliet Mills at the Hollywood Show in October 2026.
