“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice hit the catwalk for the 10th annual Fashion Woodlands fashion show on November 8. The charity event was held at a private residence in Magnolia, Texas, where Teresa served as the night’s special guest and runway model.
About Fashion Woodlands
The 10th anniversary of Theresa Roemer‘s Fashion Woodlands, a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana, became an over the big top tribute to Cirque du Soleil Paris.
This year’s Fashion Woodlands lineup included Teresa, luxuary footwear designer Donald Pliner, and a cast of can-can dancers, jugglers, contortionists and ballerinas, four fashion designers and professional guest models. Roemer’s benefit has raised more than $78,000 in the past four years, according to PaperCity Magazine.
Teresa Struts Down the Runway
Photos and videos from the evening showed Teresa walking the runway wearing a sequin gown with a leg slit, a sweetheart neckline, and cutout details on the bodice. She finished the look with strappy, open-toed heels and an assortment of silver-toned jewelry. Her glam was credited to Texas-based Princess the Artist and The Lavish Vanity, according to Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
Following the show, Teresa gave fans a behind-the-scenes look on her Instagram story when she shared clips of her runway walk.
Teresa’s Fashion Background
The mother of four has always been interested in the fashion world, in fact, she has an extensive background in it.
“My background is fashion. I went to school for fashion,” Teresa said in an interview with E! News, referring to her fashion and marketing degree earned from Berkeley College in New Jersey. She explained how she used to work for some of the world’s biggest brands prior to her run on “Real Housewives.”
“I used to work at Macy’s Herald Square in the buying office, and I was also on the vendor side; I worked for Nine West and Calvin Klein handbags,” she said.
Teresa has previously hosted the New York Summer Fashion Explosion for emerging designers.
She has also had a front row seat to various runway gigs, including her sister-in-law and fellow “RHONJ” star Melissa Gorga‘s kids when they took the runway at the Rookie USA Presents Kids Rock! Fall 2016 fashion show. Melissa and Joe Gorga‘s three children, Antonia, Gino, and Joey, walked the runway alongside other celebrity offspring and models.
Teresa has since landed multiple collaboration deals, like one with Electric Yoga, and other beauty and fashion brands.
