Jack Osbourne Addresses Health Concerns as Fans Offer Support — ‘I Have Lost No Weight’

British television star Jack Osbourne has set the record straight regarding concerns for his health in the press.

Osbourne, 40, is the son of the late heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne and television personality Sharon Osbourne. He is now best known for appearing on reality shows like “The Osbournes,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour,” “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” and “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

For much of his life in the spotlight, Osbourne has openly struggled with his weight. For the last few years, he’s been on an inspiring health kick that has seen him losing a lot of it.

However, in recent times, the star has been the subject of many cruel and unfair articles describing him as sick, underweight, and in the midst of a health crisis. He has now taken to social media to address the issue.

Jack Osbourne Calls Speculation About His Health ‘Insane’

Jack Osbourne uploaded a video to his Instagram account on Wednesday, May 20, to share his frustration about the recent articles about his appearance with his 1.5 million followers.

In the 123-second video, Osbourne is clearly irked by the stories that have been written about him — and understandably so.

He begins by saying, “Alright, I cannot believe I’m having to actually make this [expletive] video.”

Osbourne goes on, “If I see one more article written about me, saying how I’m sick, I’m grossly underweight, what’s going on? Health crisis, Jack… it’s [expletive] insane.”

I have lost no weight since I got out of the jungle doing “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” what? Six months ago.”

He then explains that the only difference in his appearance is that he’s shaved his beard and “opted for a creepy moustache.”

Osbourne then describes how he did lose weight over the course of a three year period, having previously weighed 220 lbs. He then points out that he’s now 155 lbs, which is perfectly healthy for someone who is 5′ 8½” (178.308 cm) tall.

The evidently agitated star goes on to name and shame the journalist he considers to be the worst culprit for writing negative things about him. He then (somewhat sarcastically) invites her to his jiu-jitsu gym to see how hard he works to stay trim.

He finishes by pointing out that, after being brutalized for years for being overweight, the fact it’s still happening when he’s at a healthy weight is a sad reflection of the modern press.

Fortunately, Osbourne’s followers were quick to defend him in the comments section.

Osbourne Received Love En Masse From His Followers

Jack Osbourne’s followers — including several famous people — couldn’t head to the video’s comments section quick enough to show him love.

Professional wrestler and rock singer Chris Jericho commented, “Don’t listen to the haters dude. You look great.”

British television presenter Alison Hammond, who has received her fair share of weight-based criticism in the press, wrote, “Preach !!!!!!!! Love you.”

Journalist Allison Hagendorf said, “Jack, you look amazing, and I’d be honored to join you for a jiu-jitsu session 💪🏼.”

Comedian Pauly Shore proclaimed, “budddy you are perfect.”

Bob Saget’s widow Kelly Rizzo said, “Love you Jack. You tell em!!!”

Another of Osbourne’s followers wrote, “The Ned Flanders vibe is sick dude.”

Finally, someone else commented, “Yessss Jack! Let her have it! So tired of the press trying to dig up dirt and stories on anyone and everyone. You look great lad, not that it’s any of my business either. 😂”

We have to agree that Jack Osbourne looks fabulous. Well done to him for speaking up about this issue — and well done to his fans and followers for backing him up.
