Jack Osbourne has absolutely nailed his first solo bushtucker trial on British survival reality television show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!“
The English-American media personality, 40, is currently participating in the 25th edition of the popular series alongside the likes of model and actress Kelly Brook, comedian and television presenter Ruby Wax, and rapper Aitch — and Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s youngest child is proving very popular with viewers.
Osbourne was chosen by the public to take part in the show’s latest “bushtucker trial” — a tough daily challenge to earn stars and, in turn, food for the camp. Often, those chosen are picked by the show’s fans for negative reasons but, in this series, it appears to be a sign of endearment.
Suffice it to say, Osbourne took it in his stride and delivered an epic performance that will go down in the show’s history.
Jack Osbourne Took Part In ‘Down the Hatch’
The trial Jack Osbourne was voted to do by the viewing public was called “Down the Hatch.” “Down the Hatch” saw Osbourne lowered into eight different rusty manholes, with the lid closed behind him, with the aim of winning as many of the 12 available stars as possible.
Waiting for him in each manhole were a series of terrifying creatures, including pythons, eels, mud crabs, crocodiles, and toads.
Osbourne’s task was to lower himself, while completely immersed in water, to the bottom of the manholes using ladders, then unscrew several nuts from their bolts to gain access to a box. In the box, there were more nasty creatures, along with stars screwed onto more bolts.
He then had to unscrew the stars from their bolts and return to the surface with them in his possession. Each star earned won him a meal for each of his campmates that evening.
Osbourne had to hold his breath for each attempt — impressively doing so for over a minute on occasions — and was faced with giant pythons inches from his face, as well as numerous bites and nips from various other creatures.
Remarkably, he came away with all 12 stars, was barely out of breath, and even described the task as “fun.”
Unsurprisingly, “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” viewers were massively impressed.
‘The Most Impressive Trial Performance I’ve Ever Seen’
“I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” hosts Anthony “Ant” McPartlin and Declan “Dec” Donnelly were in awe of Jack Osbourne’s effortless success in “Down the Hatch” — and so were the show’s viewers, as the comments on social media proved.
One viewer said, “That is the most impressive trial performance I’ve ever seen.”
Another “I’m a Celebrity” fan wrote, “Waw the most amazing trial i have seen so far. Well done Jack 👏.”
Someone else observed, “Ok he is an absolute legend! Wow that was very impressive.”
After Osbourne’s campmates dubbed him “Jackquaman” for his impressive showing in this water-based task, another user commented, “Jackquaman to win 👏👏❤️.”
Jack Osbourne remains one of the favorites to win series 25 of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” However, he has some tough competition this year. All of the campmates are proving very popular, with Aitch, Angryginge, and Ruby Wax in particular endearing fans.
One thing’s for sure, if Osbourne does become “King of the Jungle,” performances like the one he gave in “Down the Hatch” will mean he’s absolutely deserving of the title.
