News of Jack Osbourne’s participation in a popular British reality series has resulted in a wildly positive reaction online.
Media personality Osbourne, 45, will be appearing in series 25 of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” He’ll be taking part less than four months after the sad passing of his famous father, Black Sabbath’s lead vocalist Ozzy Osbourne.
On the show, Osbourne can expect to eat all manner of disgusting foods in the “bushtucker trials” (kangaroo testicles, fish eyes, and and live witchetty grubs could be on the menu), be dangled from crazy heights, and be covered in some of the most vile substances known to mankind — all while surviving on the most basic rations of plain rice and beans.
He’ll be joined by a stellar line-up of celebrities comprised of rapper Aitch, television presenter and former England footballer Alex Scott, social media personality Angryginge, comedian and radio presenter Eddie Kadi, model and television presenter Kelly Brook, actress Lisa Riley, musician and actor Martin Kemp, comedian and television presenter Ruby Wax, and actress Shona McGarty.
Since the line-up was officially announced, there’s little doubt that the reaction from the show’s viewers has made Osbourne the early favorite to win. Fans (and Jack’s sister Kelly Osbourne) have poured in with their positivity on the star’s Instagram account.
Kelly Is ‘SO PROUD’ of Brother Jack Osbourne
On Tuesday, November 11, Jack Osbourne posted on Instagram to officially announce his participation in this year’s “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”
The post was captioned, “Hey folks! Well, I was told to keep this a secret but the cat’s out of the bag now. I’m headed into the jungle for a few weeks. Why you might ask? I guess I’m just a sucker for punishment hahaha. My team will be managing my social media while I’m away, so don’t worry, they will be keeping you all updated. Wish me luck cause I’m gonna need it. Before I go, does anyone have a good recipe for how to cook a crocodile? 🐊 🌴 🆘 #imacelebritygetmeoutofhere #teamjack”
The comments on the video are universally positive the most notable of which came from Jack’s sister, Kelly, who wrote, “I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!”
One comment from a follower read, “Whoohoo we are all rooting for you! Your dad would have loved this!”

The official Instagram account of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” has also posted a video about Jack Osbourne’s participation in the new series. The video is captioned, “Jack Osbourne’s taking a walk on the wild side, right into the Jungle! 🕷️” — and the replies on that one are all positive, too.

It’s so lovely to see Jack Osbourne getting such a positive response to his upcoming reality television appearance. It’s been an extremely difficult year for him, and hopefully it’ll be a great way to take his mind off things.
