“Jersey Shore’s” Sammi Giancola recently celebrated a big family milestone, taking to Instagram to show a sneak peek into her son’s first birthday.
In the post, Giancola and husband Justin May can be seen standing next to son Vincent as he sits in a high chair with an Italian-themed cake to mark the occasion. The couple expanded on the Italian theme with playful decor and signs that exclaimed, “Holy Cannoli! Our little meatball is one.”
Giancola gushed about the milestone in her post, “I can’t believe we have a one year old 🥹♥️ Our little meatball is such a blessing, our real life living angel, our greatest gift 😭💕 “
Her castmate Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi also jumped in the comments to share her excitement, adding, “Happy birthday pumpkin!”
Sammi Bravely Shares IVF Journey
The celebration is extra special for Giancola, who bravely talked about her pregnancy and IVF struggles on “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.” In a September 2024 interview with “The New York Post,” Giancola discussed why she decided to address her private journey publicly on the show.
“It’s real and it’s what I’m going through. And as you know, when we do this show, you do see real parts of people’s lives on the show,” Giancola said. “This is actually what we’re going through and I kind of had no choice. We’re filming and we’re going through this. I was like, ‘Listen I’m on a journey, I have to do it. I would love to still film. I’ll allow you guys to film it.'”
In February 2025, Giancola announced that the pair was expecting.
“We’ve been keeping a little secret..,” Giancola posted on Instagram on February 23. “✨Baby May Due August 2025✨”
She continued in her post, “After struggling through years of infertility, this is the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for! We are so thrilled to finally be able to share the news of our little miracle with you all! Our hearts have never been so full of love, we can’t wait to meet you baby! 🫶🏼🥹💕”
MTV Captures Baby Vincent Meeting the ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast
MTV is currently airing the ninth season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” which follows Giancola’s journey into motherhood. On a recent episode, Giancola had her castmates over to meet Vincent, including Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Deena Cortese, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Angelina Pivarnick, and Jenni JWoww” Farley, officially bringing him into the “Jersey Shore” family.
Vincent is the latest addition to the “Jersey Shore” crew. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was the first cast mate to become a parent with son Lorenzo in 2012, followed by daughter Giovanna in 2014 and son Angelo in 2019. Mike “The Situation” also has three kids, son Romeo and daughters Mia and Luna. Both Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Deena Cortese each have two kids, with son Greyson and daughter Meilani for Farley, and sons CJ and Cameron for Cortese. Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro also each have a daughter. DelVecchio welcomed daughter Amabella in 2013, and Ortiz-Magro became dad to Ariana in 2018.
This also comes on the heels of heartbreaking news from Pivarnick, who shared that she had recently experienced a miscarriage that was also captured on the show.
