“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” quickly became one of the most talked-about reality shows after it premiered in 2024. This is so much the case that one of its stars, Jen Affleck, is on the new season of “Dancing With the Stars.” Recently, she revealed that Ben Affleck’s daughter is even a fan of the Hulu series.
The two Afflecks, who are not related, recently teamed up for a Dunkin’ Donuts ad. She told US Weekly of their pairing, “I don’t know if he’s watched the show. But his daughter has.” Affleck continued, “His daughter was there and she’s a huge fan. She’s like, ‘It’s OK, we can be related. As long as I’m related to Jen, we’re chilling.'”
She then said, “I’m sure his team told him about [the show], and he’s like, ‘Who the heck is she? I don’t know who this is.’ But hey, it led me to doing a commercial with him, so I’m happy.”
Affleck added of the shoot, “It was a full-on shoot. I had a whole script. It was my first acting gig, honestly. I didn’t know my first acting gig would be with an Oscar-winning actor.”
This is the Latest of Affleck’s Commercials For Dunkin’
The Dunkin’ commercial featuring both Affleck’s premiered on September 15. In it, she’s ordering the company’s new $6 meal deal. She begins after the last name is called, “Expecting my cousin Ben? When Dunkin has something packed with amazing value, they bring me in.”
She then said, “Jen Affleck, the value Affleck.” Affleck then jokes that she has “twice the personality” and comes at “half the price.” From there, she jokes about her “cousin” Ben, calling him “dated” and says he’s “a weathered 53.” The commercial then pans to the beloved actor in the drive-through, saying, “Rude.” After this, he claims that he’s “totally average 53.”

As mentioned, Affleck and the rest of the cast of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” have taken over the world of reality television. According to ABC News, the show is returning to Hulu for a third season. It will premiere on November 13 with ten episodes.
In addition to Afflek, the show features Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Miranda McWhorter, and Whitney Leavitt. The synopsis for the new season states, “The members face a crisis of friendship as loyalties shift, trust is tested, and the lines between fact and fiction blur.”
It continues, “When the pursuit of the truth calls character into question, a war over morality begins and a clash between #Momtok and #Dadtok erupts. With their sisterhood and everything they’ve built hanging in the balance, can the women find a path forward to salvation? Or will their collective sins destroy #Momtok for good?”
