Vanna White just celebrated her 69th birthday, and her “Wheel of Fortune” colleagues marked the occasion with a very special celebration. Along with writing a message for the star on the puzzle board, her peers showed up in blonde Vanna-like wigs.
The “Wheel of Fortune” social media team took to Instagram to share a video of White entering the studio on her special day. In the clip, you can see that she’s suddenly surprised by the show’s crew, most of whom are wearing wigs. White reacts by waving while she has a giant smile on her face.
In the caption, the person behind the show’s Instagram account wrote, “Happy birthday to our Puzzleboard Queen! 👑 Celebrating on set today with Vanna-inspired blonde wigs and her favorite cake!”
In response, White left a comment, saying, “The best surprise ever!!!”
Vanna White Is Grateful for the Birthday Love
White also shared a glimpse at her celebration by posting a few photos on Instagram, including a couple of shots of her with her “Wheel of Fortune” co-host Ryan Seacrest and, of course, her birthday cake.
She added a caption, writing, “Working on your birthday isn’t so bad when you get to celebrate with this amazing crew! Thank you all so much for all the love today. 💗”
Her post prompted plenty of comments, with one person writing, “Happy birthday to the one and only 👑🫶🎂🎉🥳🎈🎁🎊”
“Happy Birthday, Vanna! Best in the business,” came from another fan.
A third person added, “Happy Birthday to the Greatest Hostess there is! @officialvannawhite”

Vanna White Has Opened Up About Aging
GettyAs White has gotten older, she’s opened up about aging and her desire to “be natural.”
“I think wrinkles are beautiful,” White told People in October 2023. “Someone who is completely with no lines, they don’t have any character. Be natural, be yourself and have personality.”
“I am older and I accept my lines and wrinkles,” White also said. “Will I ever have plastic surgery? Maybe. But I’m kind of scared to do that. I’m not trying to look 30 years old again because I’m not.”
Makeup artist Laura Geller, who helped to create cosmetic products that take inspiration from “Wheel of Fortune,” spoke to People about White, saying, “She’s always somebody that I’ve looked up to. She’s aging gracefully and beautifully. She is so strong and such a loving mother. To me that is pure grace and strength. That’s how I would depict her, pure grace. It’s the best word. She’s just a real lady with a lot of strength.”
