Hollywood’s sweetheart Sandra Bullock is proving she has a sense of humor. The star of “The Blind Side” and “The Proposal” joined in on the internet craze from her iconic comedy “Miss Congeniality.” And Bullock’s post gave fans a good chuckle.

Twenty-six years after its release, “Miss Congeniality” is still a hit with fans. Every April, the internet pays tribute to one of the film’s most memorable scenes.
Pageant host Stan Fields, played by William Shatner, asks contestant Cheryl Frasier (Heather Burns) to describe her perfect date. Cheryl responds, “I’d have to say April 25th because it’s not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.”
Since then, the scene has sparked a meme craze with fans every April 25th. Bullock couldn’t resist joining the fun. On Instagram, the actress posted a photo of herself in a jacket, floral dress, and boots. “All you need is a light jacket,” the actress captioned the post.
Bullock’s homage to her famous film was a hit with fans. “Sandra Bullock acknowledging April 25th on Instagram??? Oh, we are so BLESSED,” wrote one commenter.

Although Instagram’s been around for years, Bullock just joined the site in April. The actress already has gained 5.4 million followers and is giving fans a sneak peek of a long-awaited project.
Bullock is reuniting with co-star Nicole Kidman for “Practical Magic 2,” the sequel to their hit 1998 film. Joining the ladies are Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest, who reprise their roles as Sally (Bullock) and Gillian’s (Kidman) aunts. Rounding out the cast is Joey King as Sally’s eldest daughter Kylie and Maisie Williams as Sally’s youngest daughter Antonia.
While the film isn’t scheduled to be released until September 11, 2026, it already has fans buzzing with excitement. A recent trailer gives fans a hint at the danger and chaos that follow Sally, Gillian, and the Owens family as they deal with dark forces.
Although fans have to wait a bit longer, Bullock is giving behind-the-scenes glimpses of the movie on Instagram. One video has the star pretending to use magic to make margaritas in a blender.
In another video, Bullock and Kidman enjoy some fun moments while promoting the film at CinemaCon. Bullock in a red pantsuit and Kidman in a black dress hug while posing on the red carpet. The two then make friends with a security dog backstage before going out to speak to the audience. After a long day of doing press, the actresses unwind with two large glasses of margaritas.
