Quinton Aaron, best known for starring opposite Sandra Bullock in “The Blind Side,” remains in critical condition after being placed on life support.
TMZ reported on 25th January that the 41-year-old actor collapsed last week while climbing the stairs at his apartment and was rushed to the hospital, where he is being treated for a severe blood infection. As friends and loved ones continue to rally around the actor, Bullock is quietly offering her support.

GettyFriends now say his condition is more serious than reported. “He currently is in dire straits, and it is touch and go for survival, but family and friends are keeping an overall positive outlook,” a source told the Daily Mail.
Bullock, who won an Academy Award for her performance in “The Blind Side,” is said to be aware of her former co-star’s condition.
“Though they haven’t stayed in touch [since the movie], Sandra is aware that he is in rough shape and she is monitoring the situation and obviously hoping for the best,” the source said.
In the 2009 film, Aaron portrayed NFL player Michael Oher, a homeless teenager taken in by Leigh Anne Tuohy, played by Bullock.
The performance marked a career milestone for Bullock and brought her Academy Award recognition.
A family friend told The Daily Mail that Aaron and Bullock “do check in with each other every once in a while,” describing Bullock as “absolutely incredible.”

GettyThe source added that Aaron is undergoing extensive testing and receiving round-the-clock medical care. “He is still a long way away from recovery,” the insider told The Daily Mail.
As per the Daily Mail Report, those close to Aaron, his condition remains uncertain as doctors continue to assess the full scope of his health issues.
“He is going through many tests, getting the best care one can get, but it is scary because the outlook isn’t the best right now,” the source said.
The insider added that Aaron’s long-term health challenges are contributing to the concern.
The source said his ongoing “battle with his weight,” including a dramatic 200-pound weight loss last year, “has been a lifelong situation and has always been something to monitor.”
“If he survives, there will be a renewed focus on his overall health after so many years have taken their toll,” the source said, noting that the next several days remain critical.
Bullock has not publicly appeared or commented on the issue.
