“The Bold and the Beautiful” fans are in for a wild ride as the long-running CBS soap heads into a drama-packed fall.
The show’s executive producer and head writer, Bradley Bell, gave viewers a glimpse of what’s ahead, starting with the intensifying feud between Forrester Creations and Logan.
“The war between the fashion houses is going to hit new levels of drama this fall, and it’s going to be a fun watch,” Bell told TV Insider. “It’s Team Katie versus Team Brooke and the battle of the sisters is going to reach new heights.”
‘The Bold & the Beautiful’ Preview: Shocking Twist Ahead for Rival Fashion Houses
CBSBell teased that the growing rivalry between Forrester Creations and Logan will continue through March 2027, just in time for the 40th anniversary celebration of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
“We’ve been thinking about [the milestone], and it will come with an ultimate payoff between these two fashion houses with a shocking twist for the 40th,” he added.
But the fashion houses aren’t the only ones caught up in messy drama. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) rivalry is also set to become even more complicated.
CBSKatie, in particular, will continue making power moves that are sure to leave Brooke fuming.
“Katie is the mouse that roared, and Heather Tom always delivers, but we had no idea about the vocal cords this mouse has because she’s really letting loose and taking on the fashion giant with her startup and doing incredibly well,” Bell teased. “The kind of forgotten youngest sister of the Logan group is now flexing her muscles and showing the world what she can do, and as she continues to succeed, she’s going to make some future moves this fall that continue to be controversial. Katie has all of this intellect and momentum and energy, but we’ll wonder if she’s going too far.”
Bell added, “Certainly, Brooke will think she’s going too far with the next move she’s going to make. Brooke is going to have a story of her own that will have some major consequences.”
The Spencers Take Center Stage
CanvaMeanwhile, the Spencers continue to steal the spotlight in the fashion world. Bell teased that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will play key roles in Logan’s success.
As for Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), he’ll continue to grow closer to Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) and even meet her mother, Darcy (Kelly Sullivan).
“We’ll find out much more about her, and we’ll see that her mother is a charming change of pace and a wonderful addition to the show,” Bell added. “Katie’s going to keep a sharp eye on them and really have trouble accepting them, at least at the onset.”
The Forresters Face Crisis
CBSMeanwhile, the Forresters are set to face even more setbacks on “The Bold and the Beautiful” this fall. Bell teased that things are about to get worse for the powerful family, putting their legacy at risk.
“For the first time in the history of the show, the Forresters have had punches to the head, and they’re really reeling from it to a point where they’re going to show some financial concerns and concerns for the future of the company, the existence of Forrester,” Bell added.
Steffy & Carter’s Secret: ‘There Will Be a Great Rollout’
Fans are also looking forward to seeing what happens next to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Bell teased that he’s keeping their storyline “close to the vest.”
“The night [where Steffy and Carter spent the night together] happened. It all started with Sheila’s foot and one delayed flight, and the next thing you know, it hit the fan. But they were two lonely hearts who felt like they were at the end of their ropes and heartbroken and a little tipsy and they had a night that was unexpected,” Bell elaborated. “And through all that, there will be a great rollout. They have a secret, and you know how long secrets last. Sometimes in soaps, they can go from days to months to years, and we’ll see how that rolls out in the months and years ahead.”
Sheila-Deacon-Taylor Love Triangle
Meanwhile, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) recently proposed to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), but she turned him down. While many fans were surprised by her decision, Bell explained that it ultimately makes sense for Taylor’s character.
“Taylor leads with her brain and her logic, and as much as her heart wanted to commit to Deacon for the rest of her life, her mind won out, and she made the decision, ‘Why do we need to get married? We have everything we want, we’re at a certain point in life, and if it’s going to cause problems for our kids, the kids are the most important thing,'” Bell elaborated.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” fall preview teases that Taylor’s decision will eventually weigh on Deacon. Still, he isn’t giving up hope of marrying her someday.
As for Sheila, spoilers say she isn’t giving up on Deacon either, especially after Taylor’s rejection.
“Sheila is still in love with Deacon, and she’s going to look at this through new eyes and wonder if Taylor was really worthy of splitting up their marriage,” Bell added. “She wasn’t intending on being Deacon’s ex-wife, so Sheila’s still in the game with her desire to be with Deacon, but also with her desire to be accepted by Steffy and be a grandmother to Hayes [Finnegan].”
Electra, RJ, & Deke
CBSThis fall, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) will be all hands on deck in helping Forrester Creations.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” fall preview teases that they will develop a great relationship through business, but Electra’s heart remains with Will. Fans will also learn more about Electra and meet some of her family.
Meanwhile, Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) also gets an interesting new storyline this fall. “Deke has this opportunity at Logan, and they’re all determined to make this Logan line a success for the future,” Bell teased. “And there’s another man who’s going to enter Deke’s life.”
