The wait is almost over for the highly anticipated “The Young and the Restless” and “Beyond the Gates” crossover event. While characters from “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” have appeared on “Beyond the Gates” since the show debuted in 2025, this is the first major event for the CBS soaps.
‘Beyond the Gates’ and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Crossover Dates
It was announced back in January that several fan favorites from Genoa City were headed to Fairmont Crest this summer. The major soap event is kicking off in less than a week and will be more than just one episode.
On Tuesday, June 9, Victor (Eric Braeden), Jack (Peter Bergman), Diane (Susan Walters), Kyle (Michael Mealor), Devon (Bryton James), and Abby (Melissa Ordway) arrive in Fairmont Crest. They are all key players at Martin’s (Brandon Claybon) political fundraiser, as their connections to the Dupree family go back for years.
The crossover event will run throughout the rest of the week, with Abby, Devon, Jack, Victor, Kyle, and Diane wrapping up their time in Fairmont Crest on Friday, June 12.
A first-look teaser has been released, hinting that fans of “Beyond the Gates” and “The Young and the Restless” will not be disappointed by this major crossover.
In true soap fashion, the fundraiser is plagued by drama, including a tornado that rips through the event, putting many lives in danger. That’s not the only thing putting lives in peril. An unexpected guest shakes things up, as do stolen kisses and shocking hook-ups, like Hayley (Marguita Goings) and Kyle making out in an elevator.
There’s no question this will be a night to remember as longtime friends Victor and Vernon (Clifton Davis) reunite. College pals Kyle and Martin are also set for an exciting, drama-filled reunion.
As “Beyond the Gates” fans already know from Devon’s previous visit to Fairmont Crest, he has known Vernon and Anita (Tamara Tunie) for decades, thanks to music and his late father, Neil (Kristoff St. John).
‘Beyond the Gates’ Boss Teases Major Fallout of Crossover Event
Speaking with TV Insider, Sheila Ducksworth, an executive producer of “Beyond the Gates” and president of the CBS Studios/NAACP venture, revealed the crossover itself is must-see TV, and the aftermath is something to tune in for, too.
“It’s big episodes, and then it doesn’t just stop there. What happens in these episodes is so compelling, and then what happens as a result of what happens in these episodes is epic. That is all I can say. It is epic,” she expressed to the outlet.
Ducksworth also explained that the crossover doesn’t just show a tiny glimpse of the characters from Genoa City. She promised that “The Young and the Restless” crew is very heavily featured and plays pivotal roles in everything that happens at the fundraiser.
“You’re going to see a multi-episode display of the Newmans and the Abbotts and everybody on the show really intermingled with our Duprees, and it is going to be big, and I mean big,” Ducksworth declared.
This may be the first major crossover event, but Ducksworth hopes it won’t be the last. Perhaps fans will get a “The Bold and the Beautiful”, “The Young and the Restless,” and “Beyond the Gates” crossover at some point.
