“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, September 2, reveal Victor Newman drives a hard bargain with Cane Ashby.
Claire Newman catches Kyle Abbott off guard. Meanwhile, Amanda Sinclair takes a risk for Phyllis Summers.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Blasts Amanda
CBSOn Tuesday, Amanda and Phyllis talk about whether Cane is putting everything on hold. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Phyllis is itching to know Cane’s real plan and pressures Amanda to spill.
“Jack wants to know what he’s up to, and frankly, so do I,” Phyllis tells Amanda. But the lawyer remains tight-lipped and insists there’s nothing to tell.
Phyllis doesn’t buy it and accuses her friend of lying. Amanda admits she’d like to tell her everything, but can’t.
The redhead reveals she offered to do the job alone while Cane deals with his kids. Phyllis then encourages Amanda to talk her boss into it.
Victor Demands Cane Help Him
CBSAt the ranch, Cane tells Victor he’s turning down his request. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say he doesn’t want to get involved in The Mustache’s plan to take down the Abbotts, adding that he needs to focus on his family right now.
But Victor declares it wasn’t a request but an order. Cane insists he can’t do it and says he’s sorry.
“Y&R” spoilers say The Mustache is not taking no for an answer and threatens to use Newman Media to expose the truth about his fortune.
Victor then tells Cane he knows that his team developed an AI technology that can infiltrate and destabilize any company. Cane denies it and insists that such technology doesn’t exist.
But Victor is not letting up. “I know it’s possible, I know you have the wherewithal to do it,” he says.
Cane maintains that sort of technology must be used for good, but Victor disagrees. “You and I will use the software to destroy Jabot, and take it away from the Abbotts, once and for all!” The Mustache declares.
‘Y&R’ Spoilers: Claire Needs More Time
CBSMeanwhile, Claire isn’t impressed with Kyle’s move. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say she asks when he bought the ring, and Kyle admits he bought it the same day.
Claire thinks Kyle’s proposal is his attempt to fix what he did. But he insists that’s not the case at all.
Claire reminds Kyle that she needs time, so his proposal is something she isn’t prepared for. “The way things are going, I have to wonder what’s next,” Claire tells Kyle. “Are you going to suggest we have a baby?”
Kyle tells Claire he loves her and wants her to be his wife. “I believe that you want that but I need time to think about this,” she replies, before heading out.
At Crimson Lights, Claire runs into Holden and tells him it’s been a day. He offers to listen, but she doesn’t feel like talking. “I feel like getting drunk, I’ve never been and I’d like to try it,” Claire tells Holden.
