“Survivor” superstar Rob Mariano – better known to fans as Boston Rob – made yet another reality TV appearance this week and he and his family joined the audience of the “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 live finale taping in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Mariano, who has made several audience appearances on the hit celebrity dance-off series this season following speculation that he would be competing himself, appeared at the finale alongside his wife, former “Survivor” champion Amber Mariano (formerly Brkich), and their four daughters.
The royal family of reality television attended Tuesday night’s live taping in support of Boston Rob’s “Traitors” co-star and close friend Dylan Efron, who secured his place in the season’s finale alongside pro-dancer Daniella Karagach.

While the Season 34 Mirrorball trophies were ultimately awarded to wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and his professional dance partner Witney Carson, Mariano took to Instagram following the finale to share some snaps with Efron and to celebrate his stellar performance on the season.
“What an Amazing Finale! @dancingwiththestars,” Mariano wrote in the caption. “Congrats to my guy @dylanefron and @daniellakaragach they crushed all seasons long!”
The carousel of photos included a snap of Mariano alongside Efron at the finale, followed by pics of Boston Rob celebrating the momentous occasion with his daughters and wife in the audience.
Mariano support of Efron on the recently concluded season began all the way back at its first live taping, where the five-time “Survivor” player was joined by the duo’s fellow “Traitors” co-star Chrishell Stause in the premiere episode’s audience.
“I flew all the way across the country to see my guy do ballroom dancing,” said Mariano in a brief interview with “DWTS” during the taping. “If that’s not dedication and friendship, I don’t know what is. Let’s go Dylan!”
Mariano continued to make backstage appearances throughout the season, backing up Efron in comedic videos during his rehearsals with Karagach.
Efron and Mariano’s ongoing “bromance,” which began on the set of “The Traitors” Season 3 earlier this year, has continued to blossom in the following months.
Boston Rob & Dylan Efron Tease Upcoming ‘Secret Side Project’
With Boston Rob’s reality TV career seemingly reaching its end as Efron’s is only just beginning, the duo have similarly revealed that they are working on their own independent project slate to debut in the near future.
While it remains unclear exactly what the new project will look like – if it will be competition based or even within the realm of reality TV – Mariano and Efron have been teasing the team-up for months.
Getty“Dylan and I actually have been working on a secret side project that is in production and being edited, and it’s going to drop really soon,” Mariano told Us Magazine in a November 12 interview. “Every time we’re together, we’re competing at all kinds of different things. Like, every single thing we do turns into a competition. We were like, ‘Man, this is really funny,’ and we just got some camera guys to film it.”
