The castaways on “Survivor” season 49 premiere are back for another week, and it looks like hunger pains are kicking in. Jeff Probst will be putting these new castaways to the test on “Survivor” 2025. We have another Immunity Challenge and another Tribal Council, but who gets voted off “Survivor” 49 tonight? Hunger Kicks In on ‘Survivor’ 49
Tonight’s episode of “Survivor” 2025 is titled “Cinema.” In the sneak peek from CBS, we see that Hina returns to camp after their Immunity Challenge win last week. They are riding high, as they have supplies and a tool kit. Can this high continue, though? Find out who got eliminated on “Survivor” season 49 tonight during our “Survivor” live recap below.

Back to Business
We are back at Kele Tribe, and they are struggling. They can’t win a challenge, and they are hungry, as we see Jeremiah eating earthworms for food. Then Annie thinks she is the puppetmaster and wants to get Jake out, as she tells everyone her plan.
Over on Uli, Savannah finds a crab, which everyone is excited about. However, Shannon needs to pray over the crab before they eat it. Then Nate feels like the old man, so he is trying to figure out how to “vibe” with everyone on “Survivor” season 49. Rizo felt the dad vibes from Nate when he hugged him, so he wants to work with him. They want to bring in Savannah and Shannon as an alliance of four.
On Hina, they have “bottle service” at camp, as the ladies come back with water. They have good vibes, but it’s all about forming alliances. Steven, Matt, and Kristina want to work together, and they want to add MC into the mix. She agrees, but has her guard up. They talk about going after Sophie, which MC goes to Sophie and tells her.
The Shoe Bandit Returns to ‘Survivor’
Annie is bossing everyone around on the Kele Tribe. She definitely wants Jake gone, but the others are just going with her and her talking. Jake finds out she wants to go after her, so now he brings out the Shoe Bandit again and hides Annie’s shoe.
Over on Uli, Jawan keeps going out alone looking for sticks. Savannah thinks he’s searching for an idol. She then learns that Jawan took her bag by accident and put sticks in it. Savannah is paranoid about bugs, so she said he is stressing her out, and he needs to go. She came on “Survivor” and hates bugs?
Boat Trip
A boat arrives at each camp. One player from each tribe must get on the boat. We see Matt for Hina, Jawan from Uli, and Jake from Kele all arrive at the private land.
They will be taking on a challenge. There are three nets in the air. They must work to fill the other players’ nets with coconuts. If the basket hits the ground, that player is out. The two losing players go back to their camp. The person with their net still in the air will remain on this deserted area.
The nets for Matt and Jake hit the ground, so Jawan wins this challenge. For winning, he gets to choose between two options:
- Help Yourself: Steal the vote away from one of the losing players. They won’t get to vote in their next Tribal Council. In return, Jawan would get a blank parchment paper, which he would use as an extra vote for himself at Tribal Council.
- Help Your Tribe: He can give a disadvantage to one of the other two tribes for the next Immunity Challenge. This would give his tribe a leg up to beat them and stay away from Tribal Council.
Jawan is torn, as he wants that security, but also wants to remain loyal to his tribe. What will he do?
Revealing the Results on ‘Survivor’ 49
The fellas return to camp, and Jake and Matt are not happy about the loss. Jawan reveals that he won and told them about his options. He chose the Tribe Disadvantage, so one of the other tribes will get a disadvantage. Savannah said Jawan was close to getting voted out, but this saved him for a few more days.
Alex and Jake are out and about and find a Beware Advantage. Alex decides to open it, which says he has to wait until they lose an Immunity Challenge. Once they do, he digs in front of the tree mail to find a clue to where the hidden Immunity Idol is. Until he finds that idol, he will lose his vote at Tribal Council.
Immunity Challenge on ‘Survivor’ Season 49
For this challenge, the tribes will be working their a series of obstacles. They will end at a “Survivor” logo puzzle. The first two tribes to finish will win immunity and a fishing gear kit as a reward. Jawan gets to hand out the disadvantage, which Jeff says they will be adding 20 pounds of coconuts to every player for running through the obstacles. They will also have 10 keys to work through to unlock the gate in the obstacles, instead of one like the other tribes. Jawan gives the disadvantage to Hina, which definitely brings some tension between them and Jawan.
Results: Kele was the first one to get to the puzzle, but then totally flops it. They didn’t seem to get one piece of the puzzle! Hina had the disadvantage, but that didn’t matter. They won this challenge, with Uli coming in second place. They both have immunity and fishing gear. Kele will be heading to Tribal Council again tonight on “Survivor” 2025.
The Search For the Idol
Back at camp, Annie is now focused on getting Sophie out and says that is who everyone should vote for. She flipped from Jake to Sophie, but the rest of the players all want Annie out.
Then Jake and Alex go out searching for the idol. Sophie sees them, so they have her join them. She actually finds the box, but doesn’t tell them. Then Jeremiah finds them, and they have him join in also. They are all searching, but Alex eventually finds it. Now he goes back to Annie and tells her, so he could be working with her now and wants to go after Sophie so he can have Jake coming to him.
Tribal Council on ‘Survivor’ 49
It’s definitely all about figuring out how they can win and what four of them can do it together. They are hungry, and they want food, as the brain fog is hitting them all. That’s the focus, but how will that play out with the votes?
Results: No idol is played tonight. First vote for Sophie, but the next three votes go to Annie, and she has been eliminated on “Survivor” tonight.
