Taylor Swift‘s fans got a special surprise when the singer popped up in a video for the 2026 Winter Olympics on Monday, February 16.
As viewers of the international games prepared to watch the women’s figure skating competition in the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, NBC Olympics & Paralympics released a video on X that featured Swift in a voiceover introducing the USA’s “Blade Angels” while the star’s current single, “Opalite,” could be heard.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to Amber [Glenn], Alysa [Liu] and Isabeau [Levito]: three American Showgirls on ice, who will capture your heart with their stories,” Swift said in the video while also making a reference to her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
The singer then spoke about each woman separately, starting with Glenn and mentioning the “many battles” the athlete has faced, saying, “The ones she lost have meant as much as the ones she wins.”
“Her superpower now is embracing the fight and daring the world to test her self-belief,” Swift added.
GettyAs for Liu, Swift brought up the fact that the skater stepped away from the sport when she was 16 years old, only to “then came back … on her own terms” after a four-year break.
“Joy fuels her now, every jump a celebration. Every performance, a testament to the beauty of knowing yourself,” Swift said.
As for Levito, the music industry star said she is “destiny personified,” noting that the athlete’s “nonna lives exactly 13 minutes from the Olympic rink.” Swift added, “When you can skate like you’re meant to be out there, history has a funny way of showing up.”
“They’re teammates, and they’re friends,” Swift explained. “They call themselves the Blade Angels.”
