Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran were among the close friends who honored Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco during their star-studded wedding celebration in California. The longtime friends of the bride delivered touching words as the newlyweds marked their union on Sept. 27.

According to People, Swift, 35, and Sheeran, 34, joined Gomez’s family members and Blanco’s parents in giving speeches during the reception. Inside sources revealed Gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefey, and her stepfather, Brian Teefey, as well as Blanco’s parents, Sandra and Andrew Levin, also shared remarks.
“At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night,” the insider said. “The vibe was so much fun.”
The source added, “They were glowing all night, and both Selena and Benny couldn’t stop smiling. There was so much love in the room.”

Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, exchanged vows in front of an A-list crowd. Guests included Paul Rudd, Paris Hilton, Camila Cabello, SZA, Cara Delevingne, Eric Andre, and Finneas, per People. Comedic duo Steve Martin and Martin Short reportedly delivered a joint speech during the rehearsal dinner.
As reported by E News, several of Gomez’s castmates and collaborators also attended, including Edgar Ramirez and Zoe Saldaña from her film “Emilia Perez,” as well as familiar faces from her “Wizards of Waverly Place” family.
Gomez announced the marriage with an Instagram post featuring photos and clips from the ceremony, captioned simply, “🤍 9.27.25 🤍.” Blanco shared his own post with the message: “I married a real life disney princess.”

Swift has been a constant presence in Gomez’s life for more than 15 years. Their friendship dates back to 2008, when Gomez was linked to Nick Jonas and Swift was dating Joe Jonas. “Taylor and I dated the Jonas Brothers,” Gomez recalled during an August episode of the podcast “Therapuss with Jake Shane.” She added that their bond grew stronger after those early breakups, saying, “The best thing we got out of those relationships was each other.”
