Taylor Frankie Paul’s canceled “Bachelorette” season was scrapped from our TVs before it even aired, but her rumored Final Rose pick made an appearance on her Instagram Story anyway.
Paul had a brief back-and-forth with rumored winner Doug Mason on May 14 after he posted a casual update about being a handy man in his bathroom.
Mason, who was listed as 28 years old ahead of the season premiere, has been linked to Paul, 31, since filming wrapped on her season of “The Bachelorette.” Insider Reality Steve previously reported that Mason was the winner of Paul’s season, which ABC later decided not to move forward with before it aired.
ABC pulled the plug just days before the scheduled premiere on March 22 after an explosive video was leaked showing a physical altercation between the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star and her ex, Dakota Mortensen.

The back-and-forth started with Mason showing a small bathroom repair on his Instagram Story.
In the selfie-style clip, the San Diego native was working on a toilet paper holder in his bathroom. He filmed himself near the wall while trying to fix the holder.
Paul posted her response a few hours later.
ABCHer Instagram Story showed her own toilet paper holder; it was still attached to the wall, but the removable middle piece used to hold the roll was on the floor, making it seem like she actually needed help with a bathroom repair.
“Hey [Doug], mine broke too… can you help by chance?” Paul wrote on her Instagram Story.
Mason then reposted Paul’s Story to his own, writing, “I thought I was done for the day.”

According to Cosmopolitan, the two were spotted together in Los Angeles just days before the season was scheduled to air.
