Alyssa Farah Griffin ‘Grateful’ Over Pregnancy
In an October 2025 interview with PEOPLE, “The View” host Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed how “grateful” she was after learning she was pregnant.
Griffin and her husband, Justin, married in 2021. PEOPLE reported that a year into their marriage, they tried to conceive. It was around that time that “The View” star learned she had undiagnosed endometriosis, which, in her case, made it difficult to conceive. The couple turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF), going through five rounds before becoming pregnant with their son.
ย “I went undiagnosed my whole life until I started this process,” she revealed to PEOPLE. “So that just added to the complications.”
Throughout the process, Griffin claimed she was “an absolute monster.” She called the process “an emotional roller coaster.”
“It’s unlike anything I’ve experienced. You do feel somewhat out of control with your own body.ย It’s hard to balance the hormones of it all, especially when you’re not getting the best news after a cycle. But Justin, he was never hard on me.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin is currently on maternity leave from “The View.” A series of rotating co-hosts will take her spot until her return.
“The View” airs live weekday mornings in syndication. The series stars Whoopi Goldberg as moderator, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Sunny Hostin as panelists.
