The Jonas Brothers’ Christmas Movie: Cast, Cameos, Plot and Release Date Revealed

The Jonas Brothers’ Christmas movie is finally happening. On Sept. 5, Disney+ released the first teaser for “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie,” giving fans a sneak peek at Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas playing themselves in a holiday comedy. The story follows the brothers as they scramble to get home from London in time for Christmas with their families — and, naturally, just about everything that can go wrong does.

The Plot of ‘A Very Jonas Christmas Movie’

The teaser opens with Randall Park, who plays the brothers’ fictional manager Brad, asking, “Are you boys sure you’re OK with getting to the plane tomorrow without me?” Nick responds confidently, “It’s one night, Brad, we’ll be fine.” Naturally, they are not fine.

The trailer shows the Jonas Brothers facing one disaster after another — from their car breaking down in snowy woods to hiding behind royal guards and nearly getting attacked by a pack of wolves. “I’m sorry we never got to hear you sing, Kevin!” Joe yells during one perilous moment. Kevin shouts back, “Thank you!” — a joke that plays on his quieter role within the band.

Directed by Jessica Yu of “This Is Us”, the film was shot in Toronto and promises equal parts slapstick comedy and holiday warmth.

The star-studded cast includes Randall Park as Brad, Billie Lourd as Cassidy, Laverne Cox as Stacy, KJ Apa as Gene, Andrew Barth Feldman as Ethan, Andrea Martin as Deb, and Chloe Bennet as Lucy.

The movie also features fun cameos, including appearances by Kenny G and songwriter Justin Tranter, who appear as themselves and provide original music for the film. “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson steps into the role of Santa Claus, while the Jonas Brothers teased that there will also be “a few special cameos from the Jonas family.”

Joe told People, “The cameos in this film — it’s wild. There’s so many people a part of this that we’ve yet to announce.”

The Jonas Brothers first revealed the project on “Good Morning America” in January with a spoof of the “Love Actually” cue card scene, later confirming the title at JONASCON in New Jersey. Nick added that fans can expect new music tied to the film: “There’s a full album that’s coming along with the film that has some holiday music and some other music.”

Disney+ confirmed “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie” will premiere on November 14, 2025.
