1. Andrea Dalton Made Her ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Debut During Season 7
As longtime fans of TLC’s “1000-Lb. Sisters” know, Andrea Dalton is Tammy Slaton’s first serious relationship since the passing of her husband, Caleb Willingham, in June 2023.
Tammy and Caleb met during Season 4 of “1000-Lb. Sisters” while they were both at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio, seeking medical care related to extreme obesity. The couple tied the knot in November 2022, and Caleb sadly passed away in June 2023. Caleb’s passing was later featured during Season 5 of “1000-Lb. Sisters.”
After continuing with therapy and rehab following her husband’s passing, Tammy met Andrea Dalton on a dating app. Tammy previously came out as pansexual in 2020 but has since shared with fans that she identifies as a lesbian and does not plan to be with any other men.
Andrea ultimately made her “1000-Lb. Sisters” debut during Season 7, giving viewers their first look at Tammy’s new relationship.

About two months after going public with their relationship, Andrea popped the question during a special horseback-riding date.

Longtime fans of “1000-Lb. Sisters” know that Andrea and Tammy’s relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing.
During Season 8, Tammy moved in with Andrea. However, Tammy began experiencing intense mood swings that led to her becoming destructive around the home.
The stress began taking a toll on Andrea, too. She shared with cameras that she had begun breaking out in hives and was experiencing severe skin sores and blistering on her legs. Andrea eventually realized their relationship couldn’t continue as it was.
She ultimately gave Tammy an ultimatum: seek more therapy or end their relationship.

Prior to dating the “1000-Lb. Sisters” star, Andrea had been in a long-term relationship for 10 years.
