Janelle Brown is swooning over her new boyfriend, Pete. While she has not spilled many details about him, former sister wife Christine Brown has already given her stamp of approval.

Janelle introduced “Sister Wives” fans to her new boyfriend on Tuesday, August 18.
“Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they’re shared. I wasn’t looking. I certainly wasn’t expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed,” she captioned a sweet selfie. “And it has been pretty wonderful. 🩷 Everyone please meet Pete.”
Fans were thrilled for the TLC star who separated from husband Kody Brown in December 2022.
“He’s such an awesome guy!! They are so cute together and he’s a construction worker 👷🏻♀️ like David!!” Christine gushed, referring to her husband David Woolley.
“Way to break the internet on a Tuesday lol,” one fan joked.
“Kody’s in shambles somewhere and I adore that for him ❤️” another teased.
“Pete!! If you don’t treat our girl right . . . We’re comin’ for ya 💕” a third fan wrote.
Kody Brown Split
Fans watched for years as Janelle, Christine, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown, raised 18 children with polygamous patriarch Kody Brown on “Sister Wives.”
In November 2021, however, the family began to fall apart. Christine — who shares six children, Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely with Kody — announced their divorce.
“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she shared in a statement via Instagram at the time. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”
One year later, Janelle shared that she would be separating from Kody, followed by Meri leaving Kody one month later.
Kody was originally married to Meri — with whom he shares one child, Leon. However, he eventually legally divorced Meri in order to marry Robyn and adopt her three children from a previous marriage. However, he remained spiritually married to Meri until January 2023.
The family suffered an unimaginable loss in March 2024 when Janelle and Kody’s son Garrison took his own life.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory,” Janelle shared at the time.
She would later move from the family’s Flagstaff, Arizona, home to a farm in North Carolina with her daughter Madison Brush.
Kody remains married to Robyn, while Christine remarried in October 2023 and lives in Utah with her husband and youngest daughter. Meri is embracing single life and often travels with friends.
