As fans eagerly anticipate news of “Sister Wives” season 21 on TLC, members of the Brown family are busy living their lives. Christine Brown Woolley is happily remarried, and her children have no interest in living in polygamy any longer.
Today, most of the Brown family children live quieter lives. Many have bravely spoken out against their upbringing in the public eye.
While Ysabel Brown doesn’t regularly post on Instagram any longer, she did offer a recent update. Fans felt glad to see the young woman smiling and thoroughly enjoying her life.
Christine Brown Daughter, Ysabel, Enjoys the Great Outdoors
It’s been quite some time since Ysabel Brown posted anything on her public Instagram account. After a seven-month-long pause, the “Sister Wives” star uploaded a photo dump, revealing that she was enjoying herself outside.
“Summer hiking,” Ysabel captioned her latest set of Instagram photos.
In the first image, Christine Brown’s daughter smiles demurely at the camera, dressed impeccably for an active day outdoors. The rest of the photos feature the stunning landscape. In the final photo, Ysabel poses proudly in front of a waterfall.
Plenty of fans and friends left kind comments on the photos, glad to see the TLC star living life to the fullest.
“FUN!!!! this hike looks like so much fun,” one Instagram user wrote.
“This makes me wanna go hiking!!” another chimed in.
“The coolest girl I know ✨” a third shared.
Of course, Ysabel Brown isn’t the only member of the family completely enamored by nature. Janelle’s son, Hunter, also enjoys spending time relaxing in the wilderness. He posted several photos from his adventures in Alaska and Canada earlier this year.
Ysabel Brown Earned a Degree Last Year
Prior to the hiking post, Ysabel Brown’s last Instagram post is dated December 30, 2025. She proudly poses with her graduation cap, announcing that she finished her degree. Several members of the family, including Maddie Brush and Gwendlyn Brown, congratulated their younger sister.
Now that Ysabel Brown is exploring young adulthood, it’s entirely possible she will follow in the footsteps of her older siblings and take a step back from the spotlight. She was part of her mother’s wedding in 2023 and still occasionally participates in filming. But as time goes on, many fans think that could change.
Today, Mykelti Brown Padron is the most vocal of the children. She appeared on the “Cults to Consciousness” podcast to discuss the harmful effects of growing up in polygamy.
Other members of the family are more like Leon Brown and have completely denounced their reality television fame.
“I’m not a celebrity, I’m a human being and I have had people come up to me in public in the past,” Leon shared in a TikTok, noting that they hate interacting with fans. “I’m not out in public to be people’s entertainment or to be consumed by people. I’m out in public to live my life. So if you see me out, don’t come say ‘hi.’”
Fans expect to see “Sister Wives” season 21 debut on TLC sometime this fall.
