Joseph Duggar’s 27-year-old brother, Jeremiah Duggar, broke his social media silence to celebrate his wife, Hannah Duggar. Jeremiah is the eleventh child of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children. He was born on December 30, 1998, five minutes after his twin brother, Jedidiah Duggar.
After a courtship that began in December 2020, Jeremiah tied the knot with Hannah Wissman at the First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, in March 2022.
In honor of the couple’s four-year wedding anniversary, the former reality star returned to social media with a special anniversary tribute to his wife, rather than addressing anything unfolding with his brother, Joseph.
The silence regarding Joseph Duggar has been questioned among fans, given that the Duggar brothers appeared close as TLC cameras rolled. While there are three siblings between the brothers, Joseph and Jeremiah are only four years apart in age. The pair also served as groomsmen in each other’s weddings.
Jeremiah Duggar Shares Anniversary Tribute
Jeremiah Duggar shared a carousel of photos with his Instagram followers, along with a sweet note to his wife. He began by writing, “It’s officially been 4 years since we tied the knot.”
The message got more touching, as Duggar admitted, “My love for you is deeper now than ever before. You are the most incredible wife, and I am so grateful our girls can look up to you as the ultimate role model in their life.”
The couple shares three daughters: Brynley, Brielle, and Emery. Their oldest daughter, Brynley Noelle, was born on Christmas Day in 2022. The couple’s second daughter, Brielle Grace, was born in February 2024. The couple welcomed their third child, Emery Jane, into the family in May 2025.
Duggar ended his anniversary tribute post with, “Happy 4 year anniversary Hannah!” As fans may have noticed, in light of recent events, Duggar disabled the comments on his Instagram post.
Jeremiah Duggar and Jana Duggar Married Into the Same Family
Jeremiah Duggar’s wife, Hannah, is no stranger to large families, but her connection to the Duggar family runs even deeper than fans may realize. She hails from the Wissmann family of Milford, Nebraska. Her parents, Loren Wissmann and Gloria Wissmann, share 13 children.
The Wissmann children, 8 daughters and 5 sons, range in age from 19 to 44. Hannah is the ninth child in the family, and directly above her in age is her older brother, Stephen Wissmann.
The name may sound familiar to fans as Jeremiah’s older sister, Jana Duggar, married Stephen in August 2024. The couple tied the knot in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, in front of 500 guests.
Jana and Stephen welcomed their first child, Archie Gerald Wissmann, into the world in December 2025. Archie Wissmann is the double first cousin of Jeremiah and Hannah’s three daughters: Brynley, Brielle, and Emery.
Jeremiah Duggar and Jana Duggar Share Another Bond
Along with both marrying into the Wissmann family, Jeremiah and Jana also share something else in common: they are both twins.
Jana and her brother, John-David Duggar, were the first set of twins in the family, born in January 1990. Nearly nine years later, Michelle Duggar gave birth to her second set of fraternal twins, Jedidiah and Jeremiah, in December 1998.
Thirty-five years after welcoming their first twins, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar added another set to the family, but this time as grandparents. Twin girls, Elsie and Emma, were born in January 2025 to Jedidiah Duggar and his wife, Katey.
