Kody & Robyn Brown Find Their Dream Home to Start Anew on ‘Sister Wives’

On season 20 of TLC’s “Sister Wives,” Kody Brown and Robyn Brown want to make a major change in their life. The couple is ready to move to a different part of Flagstaff, Arizona, wanting to leave their home, which holds many unfortunate memories, behind.

In episode 3, Kody hopes that moving to a new, bigger home will also somehow fix his fractured relationships with his adult children. But will a new house really mend these broken relationships?

Kody & Robyn Brown Are Ready For a Change on ‘Sister Wives’

On the Oct. 12 episode of “Sister Wives,” Kody and Robyn Brown begin a new chapter as they pack up their belongings and prepare to move into a new home.

Though they’re remaining in Flagstaff, Arizona, the couple is eager to leave behind a place filled with painful memories, from the family’s separation from sister wives Christine Brown Woolley, Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown to the heartbreaking loss of Kody’s son, Garrison Brown.

The couple meets with their real estate agent, Justin, after locating their “dream home” on “the other side of Flagstaff.” However, to get their new house, Kody and Robyn must sell the home they are living in. When their offer is a success, they have less than a month to move out.

“Since I met Robyn, she has said, ‘Faith in God, one step in front of the other.’ We are going to pack this house because we believe we are going to be blessed with the other,” Kody shares.

The couple reflects on how this move represents a much-needed fresh start, most importantly, a chance to heal and begin again.

“The new home for me is like a new beginning,” Robyn shares.

“It’s a new beginning, a place for my kids to come to,” Kody says, hoping that the new home may mean his adult children may feel eager to visit despite their fractured relationships. “This house is simply a new opportunity to invite them here, potentially enjoy their company here.”

“This house had a series of sad events. I start breaking up with my family … just one thing after another, I get news of Garrison’s passing. This house has pain,” Kody tells the camera, with Robyn adding, “I was in a deep, deep depression in this house.”

“I’m very excited to leave,” Kody says, with Robyn in agreement.

Maddie Brush Drops a Bombshell on the Family

Episode 3 also sees Madison Brush (formerly) Brown sharing huge news with her family. The daughter of Kody and Janelle Brown shares that she is pregnant with her fourth child.

Maddie also reveals that her due date is March 4 or 5, a day that holds great significance to the family as March 5 is the day that Garrison Brown, her brother, passed away.

“This is exciting news, and it’s a surprise,” Christine shares in a confessional. “The baby is due on the day that Garrison passed away. Isn’t that crazy? It’s, like, full [circle].” Meanwhile, Janelle admitted that her daughter’s due date was “so cool.”

Maddie’s daughter, Emilia Estelle Brush, wasn’t born on March 5, but the reality star and her husband, Caleb Brush, still found a touching way to honor her late brother by giving their baby the middle name Estelle, which means “star” in Latin.

According to Us Weekly, when a fan commented on Maddie’s Instagram post about her daughter’s arrival, asking if the baby’s name was in tribute to Garrison, Maddie replied, “That is exactly what it is.”
