The new fall TV season is on the horizon, in both network television and the world of streaming.
For subscribers of Disney+ and Hulu (which will be fully integrated by the end of the year), read on for a rundown of new programming arriving in fall 2026.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu
After a disappointing run at the box office, “The Mandalorian and Grogu” makes its Disney+ debut.
“The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy,” reads the film’s synopsis. “As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu. LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian
This special recaps all three seasons of “The Mandalorian,” LEGO-style.
Viewers are promised “unexpected laughs and action-packed fun” in “this new animated galactic adventure” that is described as being “perfect for ‘Star Wars’ and LEGO fans of all ages. Premiere: September 2
‘Chad Powers’ Season 2
This comedy returns for a second season, starring Glen Powell as disgraced NFL quarterback Russ Holliday, who dons a prosthetic disguise to become quirky Chad Powers, who lands a spot on a struggling minor league team, the South Georgia Catfish.
In Season 2, “his unlikely comeback continues, as long as he can keep his story straight and his Chad prosthetics in place. As Chad attracts more attention, it becomes increasingly difficult for Russ to keep his cover intact, and the line between his identities begins to blur. ‘The Drop: A Snowfall Saga’
This spinoff of “Snowfall” focuses on Wanda Bell (Gail Bean) and Leon Simmons (Isaiah John) as they try to reinvent themselves in 1990s Los Angeles amid the shifting landscape from the crack epidemic to the rise of hip-hop. Believing West Coast rap can reshape culture, Wanda sets out to manage a group of rising artists. Premiere: September 9
‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 35
The long-running reality competition kicks off in style as “Dancing With the Stars” returns with its 35th season. Premiere: September 15
‘City of Blood’
This limited series is described as a “dystopian thriller” with a horrific twist.
“It’s the future and Berlin is collapsing,” reads the synopsis. “While privileged elite live beneath a climate-controlled dome, those outside struggle to survive in a world ravaged by heat, corruption and crime. ‘R.J. Decker’ Season 2
ABCScott Speedman is back for a second season as R.J. Decker, the “former newspaper photographer and ex-con who starts over as a private investigator in the colorful-if-crime-filled world of South Florida. The series follows him tackling cases that range from slightly odd to outright bizarre with the help of his journalist ex, her police detective wife, his former cellmate turned confidant and a shadowy woman from his past.” Premiere: September 15
‘American Horror Story’ Season 13
The 13th season has taken awhile to arrive, but promises to be the best ever, incorporating characters and storylines from all the previous seasons. “Everybody thinks it’s a ‘Coven’ season and it’s not. It’s all the seasons,” series co-creator Ryan Murphy told “Entertainment Tonight.”
“Sarah Paulson is playing six or seven roles. Jessica Lange is playing all four of her iconic characters. Evan Peters is playing five characters,” Murphy added. “It is like the Avengers. They all come together to defeat the ultimate evil.” Premiere: September 25
‘The Simpsons’ Season 38
FOXRenewed through to Season 40, “The Simpsons” returns with its 38th season. Special guest stars this season include Emma Thompson, Henry Winkler, Rachel Bloom and Gustavo Dudamel. Premiere: September 28
‘VisionQuest’
Paul Bettany returns as the robotic Avenger in the third part of the saga that began in “WandaVision” and continued in “Agatha All Along.”
“Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponize him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis and the infamous Ultron (James Spader),” reads the official synopsis. “His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s son, reincarnate. As Vision evades capture, he must confront his nature, resist Ultron’s influence, and unravel the enigma that is his young companion if he’s to survive.” Premiere: October 14
‘The Lowdown’ Season 2
FXEthan Hawke returns as Tulsa “truthstorian: Lee Raybon in this acclaimed dramedy. “After winning a local citizen journalist award for his story on Dale Washberg, Lee gives an unfiltered acceptance speech that catches the attention of Ginger (Betty Gilpin), a bold public defender,” reads the new season’s synopsis. “Lee and Ginger look into a client who vanished mysteriously from a state prison, uncovering wealth, corruption, and elite malfeasance. ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 3
