Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Vocals Are Amazing in Raw Instagram Video

Jennifer Love Hewitt is reminding fans of her singing talent with a series of recent social media videos. The “9-1-1” actress took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of how she’s spending her free time before heading out on set, showing off her impressive singing chops along the way.

Hewitt has been singing since she was a kid and has released four studio albums throughout her career. However, her latest videos offer a refreshing look at the actress’ raw talent as she sings hits by Linda Perry and Julia Michaels.

When Jennifer Love Hewitt isn’t busy playing character Maddie Buckley on “9-1-1,” it appears she’s spending her downtime turning her trailer into a personal concert venue.

In an August 21 Instagram post, Hewitt, who had swapped her red locks for a fresh blonde look back in April, showcased her raw and powerful vocals by singing a rendition of Linda Perry’s “What’s Up?” and reminding fans just how talented she is.

“New trailer song loading…. Everyone outside my trailer was probably like what’s going on? @reallindaperry you are forever a badass! ❤️” She captioned her singing post.

Fans Want Hewitt to Release A New Album After Showcasing Her Singing

More recently, Hewitt shared a clip performing a rendition of Julia Michaels’ hit song “Issues.”

This time, instead of a raw, live performance in her trailer, she is seen singing in a garage. “Swapping the Trailer Session for a Garage Session today. Love this song from @juliamichaels. ♥️,” she captioned the post.

In the comment section, fans shared how wonderful it was to hear Hewitt singing again, with many praising her impressive vocals.

“You’re in your element again, Jennifer. The tone, the ease, the way you let the song sit exactly where it wants to — it’s magic. You have this gift of making everything feel personal, like we’re right there in the garage with you,” a comment read.

“Simply wonderful. We need a full acoustic set,” another comment read. “Please, please release a new album. 🙏🙏🙏💙,” another read.

Hewitt has been giving fans wonderful renditions of favorite throwback songs. Back in March, while still rocking red hair, she serenaded fans with Des’ree’s 1994 hit “You Gotta Be.”

“Singing after a very long day yesterday and another one ahead of me today. This song has always been an anthem to me and I’m sending it out to anyone who needs a little hump day pick me up. Love you guys ❤️” she shared.

“9-1-1” fans will also recall that she showcased her vocal chops for the show. Hewitt recorded a rendition of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodger’s “Island in the Stream” for Maddie and Chimey Han’s (Kennth Choi) wedding episode in season 7.

In fact, since sharing her singing videos, fans have been pleading with the actress to release another record. During her music career, Hewitt has released four studio albums, with her last record, “BareNaked,” released in 2002.
