Lori Loughlin is not only ready to return to living her life in the public eye, but she’s already actively taking steps to make a comeback after stepping away from the spotlight.
It was seven years ago that Loughlin and her now-estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were caught up in a college admissions scandal involving their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli. Along with facing legal consequences, “Loughlin deleted her Instagram account on March 12, 2019, the day the news broke,” according to People.
Now, she’s returned to Instagram… but she hasn’t done so alone. Instead, she got her former “Full House” costars to help her out.

“Wake up, San Francisco! I’m back on IG 💕,” Loughlin wrote in the caption of an Instagram post that she shared on Monday, August 31.
The post also included a video that featured Loughlin as well as clips of John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber and Scott Weinger, who all take turns looking at the camera to tell those who are watching to “wake up, San Francisco,” which is a nod to the job Loughlin’s “Full House” character had during her time on the show. Fans will also see a clip of the late Bob Saget, who played Loughlin’s co-anchor on the series.
In the comments of the post, Loughlin’s followers made it clear that they were happy to see her back on Instagram, and loved her re-introduction to the social media platform. That included Coulier, who wrote, “Love this! And love you!❤️”
At the same time, Loughlin’s daughter, Isabella Rose, popped in a cheeky message for her mother, saying, “mom it’s honestly super rude you haven’t followed me yet.” (Note: Loughlin is now following both Bella and Olivia!)
Of course, we also can’t overlook the fact that the post prompted comments from plenty of Loughlin’s Hallmark costars, who are likely thrilled to also see her return to two of her major roles.
Lori Is Also Returning to ‘When Calls the Heart’ & ‘Garage Sale Mysteries’
HallmarkWhen Loughlin shared her comeback post on Instagram, there were excited and supportive messages from fellow Hallmark stars Erin Krakow and Andrea Brooks, as well as Holly Robinson Peete and Cameron Mathison. They are all surely delighted to see Loughin back on social media as they also welcome her back to her former Hallmark gigs.
Indeed, fans of “When Calls the Heart” will be able to see Loughlin bring back her character, Abigail Stanton, during Season 14 of the series, which is set to air sometime in 2027. However, before that happens, viewers will be able to see her as bargain-hunting, crime-solving Jennifer Shannon in a new installment of her “Garage Sale Mysteries” movies. “Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage” is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, September 19, at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. Central) and will be streaming the next day on Hallmark+.
We’re sure that Loughlin will be posting about her return to both “When Calls the Heart” and “Garage Sale Mysteries” on her Instagram account now that she’s active on social media again.
