Iam Tongi is getting married! The 21-year-old Hawaiian singer, who won season 21 of “American Idol,” and his girlfriend of two years, Leah, revealed in social media posts on December 27, 2025, that they are engaged.
Sharing a carousel of photos from Tongi’s proposal, starting with a photo of her gorgeous oval-shaped ring, Leah wrote, “I’m officially a fiancée 🙂↔️ Leah Tongi… now I love the sound of that ☺️”

Within an hour of Leah’s joint post with Tongi, it had already racked up over 17,000 likes and comments from thrilled fans. Tongi commented on the post, “Forever baby.”

In the carousel of photos Leah shared, Tongi could be seen down on one knee, proposing outside at night as she wiped tears from her eyes.
Tongi, who’s been traveling the U.S. on his first Christmas tour and appeared in Disney’s Christmas Day Parade, shared his own post, highlighting another photo of him holding Leah’s hand, wearing her dazzling diamond.

Tongi hinted at wanting to spend his life with Leah when he gushed about her in a two-year anniversary post on December 2.
He wrote, “Happy 2 year anniversary ❤️❤️beautiful . To woman that changed my life , I just want to tell you that you mean so much to me you are what keeps me going and keeps me motivated And I just wanted to thank you for putting up with me for two years!! 😂 but I wanted to say thank you babe for always loving me and supporting me through my ups and downs and for helping me stay positive.
