Andy Cohen came to the defense of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Amanda Frances—and he went so far as to ask viewers to “give her a break.” On Feb. 9, the Bravo TV producer spoke out on his radio show, Sirius XM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” amid rumors that Frances, 41, quit the show midway through filming her first season.
Cohen told his co-host John Hill that there were “a lot of rumors” about the Housewives, then added, “A lot of people have been asking me that Amanda Frances, that she quit halfway through filming ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’”
“No. She absolutely did not,” Cohen confirmed on his Sirius XM show.

BravoFrances, 41, has received a lot of backlash during her short run on RHOBH, from both viewers and her castmates. In a RHOBH Season 15 episode, co-star Sutton Stracke said, “Amanda might be the kind of person that will one-up or measure up.”
Frances explained her need to compare herself to the other women, telling “Housewives Nightcap” that she was simply “trying to find things to relate to” with her older co-stars.
On his radio show, Cohen defended Frances further. “By the way, I think Amanda Frances is great for the show,” he said. “She’s got the Kyle [Richards] house connection, blows me away. She’s got a real…she’s like a self-made person. And you know, I think the viewers are reacting to her, the women are reacting to her. She’s got a story to tell. And so, give her a break, everybody. Give her a break.”
Cohen also added that someone who has “a lot of followers” tagged him in a really “mean” post about Frances. “It was so mean,” he said. “And you know what, this woman is gonna wake up in L.A. She’s got two small kids, she will probably be woken up in L.A. She’s been on this show for three months… something she shot a year ago. And she’s going to read that, and her day is going to be ruined.”
Cohen said he DMd the poster and reminded him that the “Real Housewives” stars are human beings and that Frances would wake up and see the post. Cohen said the social media personality ultimately deleted the post after he confronted him. “I hope she never saw it,” Cohen said.
Amanda Frances Also Confirmed She Did Not Quit RHOBH
BravoFrances also addressed rumors that she quit RHOBH midway through filming.
“lol this is not true,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories in February 2026, per a screenshot shared by All About the Real Housewives. “I have my final interview, WWHL, and the reunion all on my calendar.”
She admitted on “Housewives Nightcap” that she was dreading the reunion taping, adding, “Why do we want to sit around for 18 hours and fight with each other about things that we need to get over?”
On his radio show, Cohen confirmed the RHOBH reunion will tape “at the end of this week” in Los Angeles. “Yeah, I’m ready to go,” he said.
