Kyle Cooke is getting candid again.
Just weeks after his “Carl’s a Mess” comment exploded across Bravo fandom, the “Summer House” star chatted with Adam Glyn outside Vulture’s reality TV party in New York City — and once again ended up dropping major headlines about both Loverboy and his personal life.
Bravo fans immediately zeroed in on the interview because Glyn was also the person behind Cooke’s now-viral “Carl’s a Mess” moment earlier this season, which quickly became one of the biggest talking points surrounding the ongoing Amanda Batula and West Wilson drama.
During the latest interview, Cooke opened up about Loverboy’s financial reality before also addressing the recent buzz surrounding his viral kiss moment with former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Meghan King.

When asked how Loverboy is currently doing, Cooke admitted the company is now in a “much better place,” while revealing just how difficult things became behind the scenes.
“Loverboy is in a much better place just simply because we were able to do a bunch of pre-sales due to all the support that we were able to kind of muster up,” Cooke explained.
He then shared more details about the pressure surrounding the company.
“I think the biggest challenge we’re up against is you gotta spend money to make money,” he said. “And not only do I have this SBA loan, we had like $600,000 of debt.”
Cooke admitted there was a period where the future of the company genuinely felt uncertain.
“Honestly like the continued support is helping turn this thing around,” he said. “Cause we were in a really tight spot. Like I was questioning, you know, do I put this thing into bankruptcy. I mean it was like dire straits.”
The Bravo star also credited fans directly for helping keep the company afloat during the difficult stretch.
“People are cruising the site buying anything and everything they can,” Cooke said. “Honestly, we built the brand around the fans and the fans have continued to come through.”
The comments arrive after Cooke recently leaned heavily into the viral attention surrounding “Summer House,” even turning his “Carl’s a Mess” remark into official Loverboy merch.
Cooke Addresses Meghan King Kiss Rumors
Glyn also asked Cooke about the recent Page Six photos showing him kissing Meghan King during a night out in New York City.
Cooke quickly downplayed the situation.
“That was blown out of proportion,” he said. “She’s an amazing lady. I just met her that night.”
According to Cooke, the two spent most of the evening talking rather than flirting.
“She kind of opened up about her custody case,” he explained. “I actually felt really bad. It was almost like we were trauma bonding.”
Cooke also laughed off social media commentary surrounding the now-viral photos.
“And then people were saying I was on my tippy toes,” he joked. “No, I was just wearing baggy pants. But she is tall.”
When Glyn asked whether the two had continued hanging out since the party, Cooke gave a simple answer: “No.”
He also confirmed he’s still single following his split from Amanda Batula.
“Still single,” Cooke said. “Just having fun.”
