Kathryn Dennis made her reality TV debut on the first season of Bravo’s “Southern Charm” in 2013. At 21, she made headlines for her relationship with Thomas Ravenel, 29 years her senior.
Since then, Dennis has had a rollercoaster life on and off camera, from her stormy romance with Ravenel and bitter custody battles over their two kids to her recent brushes with the law. Her last appearance on “Southern Charm” was in season 8, but could there be a chance fans see her on their screens again?
Craig Conover Hints At “A Road Back” for Kathryn Dennis on ‘Southern Charm’
“Southern Charm” stars Craig Conover and Madison LeCroy joined Jeff Lewis on his “Jeff Lewis Live” show to discuss their upcoming eleventh season of the hit Bravo series. But one question sparked particular interest among fans: it concerned former co-star Kathryn Dennis, who hasn’t appeared on the show since season 8.
Dennis had recently made headlines after being released from jail on Oct. 14, after an 11-day stay following her DUI conviction, which stemmed from a May 2024 car crash, per Us Weekly.
When asked about having any communication with Dennis, LeCroy shared, “I have tried to reach out to Kathryn, just like a wellness check situation. Shot her a text and said, If you ever need anything, obviously, please call me. I think Craig can probably say he got a reply because I didn’t.”
But Conover, who has been a supporter of Dennis, shared that he does still keep in contact with Dennis, adding, “We intermittently message. I do owe her a call … she just got out of her serving her sentence, and I do need to call her.”
Conover then hinted that there may be a future for Dennis on “Southern Charm,” which would really excite fans.
“I am privy to some information that there might be a road back for Kathryn, but a lot has to happen. I feel like I owe it to Kathryn to at least give it a shot and talk to her about it,” he said.
Why Dennis Left ‘Southern Charm’
According to People, Dennis chose to leave “Southern Charm.” In a statement about her departure after eight seasons, she called her time on the show “a wild ride.” Additionally, Dennis looked back at her time on the show from her very first season to her last.
“Y’all watched me grow up, become a mom to two amazing children, and build friendships I’ll always treasure. And through it all, the love y’all have shown for me not only gave me the strength I needed to tackle it all, but helped me realize that I wasn’t alone. I’m so grateful,” she said.
“I’ll be carrying that love with me as I enter this next chapter of my life, away from the ‘Southern Charm’ lens,” she added.
Dennis was last seen in season 8, where she had a major feud with Conover’s ex, Naomie Olindo, who was upset Dennis spread false rumors about former co-star Cameron Eubanks’ marriage. The season also saw her relationship fallout with boyfriend Chleb Ravenell, who has no relation to Thomas Ravenel.

Sadly you can’t believe a word Craig says because he is a compulsive liar, he wanted to shut JD up so he made up a lie, he wa ts Kathryn back so he would lie.
