Nicole Kidman Reveals Location of Secret Home She’s Hidden for Over 20 Years

As Nicole Kidman focuses on her life following her divorce from country music star and former “American Idol” judge Keith Urban, she has chosen to spend time in one of her various delightful dwellings around the globe.

In fact, it turns out that she was recently living in a residence that we weren’t even aware that she owns. That’s because the super-savvy actress has just revealed the location of the longtime abode after secretly calling it home for over 20 years!

London Can Count Kidman Among Its Longtime Residents

Although Kidman is a famous Hollywood actress who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and grew up in Sydney, Australia, she now primarily lives in Nashville, Tennessee, while also owning properties in both Beverly Hills and New York City. Beyond that, she has spent a good deal of time over the years in London, England.

In fact, when British Vogue recently caught up with the star for a new interview that was published on Thursday, August 13, they spent time with her “in an attic in Notting Hill.”

While British Vogue also mentioned that the two daughters Kidman shares with Urban, Sunday Rose (18) and Faith (15), were attending a Schiaparelli exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum during the interview, the publication also brought up the fact that the actress had “a flat nearby.”

For fans of Kidman, this is new information, which is surprising considering the fact that she’s owned the home for quite a long time. The actress explained just how long she’s been a resident of the area while also revealing how she’s been able to hide the fact that she purchased the apartment so long ago, saying, “I’ve had it for 20 years… 21 actually. … I’m stealth. I’m good at slipping in and slipping out of everywhere.”

Kidman Has Quite a Few Connections to London

While this “marks the first time that the ‘Moulin Rouge!’ actress has confirmed she owns property in London,” according to Realtor.com, it was public knowledge that she spent quite a bit of time in the city last summer as she filmed the new “Practical Magic” movie alongside her witchy co-star, Sandra Bullock. Yes, the story is set in New England; however, some of the tale was told in the original England.

During the making of the highly-anticipated sequel, Kidman and Bullock reportedly took advantage of the free time that they had to experience London’s highlights. Kidman has been doing the same with Sunday Rose and Faith, as the mother and daughters have “settled in the city,” in part, by “taking full advantage of London’s thriving theatre industry,” Realtor.com points out. That includes seeing multiple productions together, including “1536,” “The Guilty” and “The Oresteia.”

These excursions are perhaps one of the reasons why Kidman told British Vogue that she’d “love to” return to the stage in London. Back in 2015, she could be seen as X-ray crystallographer Rosalind Franklin in “Photograph 51” by Anna Ziegler, at the Noël Coward Theatre. Prior to that, she made her West End theater debut in 1998 while appearing in “The Blue Room” at the Donmar Warehouse. Both performances earned her rave reviews, according to the BBC, so an encore on the London stage is certainly something that Kidman should consider.
