Christian Bale was on a date night with his wife. The “Batman” star, 52, and his wife, Sibi, 56, appeared at the premiere of Bale’s newest film. The actor is part of the ensemble cast of “Madden,” which he co-leads with Nicolas Cage.

Christian and Sibi went nearly identical for their red carpet appearance. The couple showed up in suits, while remaining arm in arm. The duo, who have been married for 26 years, were in good spirits as they smiled for the cameras.

Their choice in style has delighted fans, as the pair have long been held up as an example of a positive Hollywood marriage. They have also coordinated outfits at multiple other premieres, making this a continuation of a wholesome trend.

Christian Bale Is Once Again Disappearing Into His Character

Christian and Sibi Bale walked the red carpet as a happy couple should. The pair matched their outfits, reflecting their drama-free lifestyle. The two were all smiles, walking along, holding hands and engaging with reporters.

Watching Bale in his regular appearance will be a welcome sight for fans. The actor took a three-year hiatus from the screen before returning early this year. In “The Bride!” Bale played Frankenstein’s monster, continuing his knack for disappearing into his characters. He did so again with “Madden.”

In his latest film, Bale looks unrecognizable once more. The 52-year-old went through heavy prosthetic makeup, including acquiring a balding hairstyle, gaunt features, and losing a noticeable amount of weight. The actor portrays football coach Al Davis in the movie.

Christian Bale And His Wife Sibi Went All-Black For Their Stylistic Choice

On the red carpet, though, Bale flashed a chic figure next to his wife. Sibi complemented her husband by echoing his suit color in her own. However, she also had slight variations that allowed her suit to be distinct just enough.

Christian Bale donned a classic black suit with a tailored blazer. “The Dark Knight” star paired it with matching trousers, a black button-down shirt, and all-black shoes. Christian looked bold in an open-collar look to complete his style.

Sibi retained Christian’s general dark-style aesthetic, but opted for slightly more variety. The former model put on a pinstripe black pantsuit with a structured, single-breasted blazer. Her top had a plunging neckline that she matched with wide-leg trousers.

The 56-year-old accessorized with a long cross pendant, multiple necklaces, and held a small black handbag with a gold chain. She had her hair parted and relaxed on her shoulders to bring focus to her chest.

Christian Bale And His Wife Have Been Married For 26 Years

Christian Bale and Sandra “Sibi” Blažić have been together since the 1990s. The pair married soon after entering a relationship in January 2000. The two welcomed their first child, daughter Luka, in 2005, and son Joseph in 2014.

Luka, 21, has now entered show business herself. She is currently working as a model, having posed for Dolce & Gabbana. She is also pursuing a career as a photographer.

Although he married at just 26 years of age, Bale has admitted that marriage was never on the cards for him before he met his wife.

“I never planned to marry. Everyone was divorced in my family, so I didn’t have very healthy ideas about marriage,” Bale told Easy Living magazine in July 2012. “Then I met Sibi, and suddenly it seemed a fantastic idea.”
