Disney is going country with an all-new “Main Street Country” EP, set for release on April 3, 2026. The EP consists of five tracks, recorded by some of the biggest names in country music, including Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn.
Katelyn Brown recently took to social media to share an update on the couple’s Disney duet. Read on to discover her touching message.
Kane & Katelyn Brown Team Up for Disney’s ‘Main Street Country’ EP
Katelyn Brown took to social media to give fans an inside look at the recording process for “Beauty and the Beast,” a track from the 1991 Disney film.
The 33-year-old captioned her Instagram Reel, “Can’t wait for y’all to hear the full song Friday! What a dream come true.”
Fans and fellow country stars soon flooded into Brown’s comment section.
Country musician Chuck Wicks wrote, “I’m so jealous you got to do this!!”
Summer Pardi, the wife of country music star Jon Pardi, showed her support by leaving the simple comment, “Yesssssss.”
Kailey Dickerson, the wife of country music star Russell Dickerson, also showed her support to the Browns, writing, “I’m the most star-struck I’ve ever been.”
One fan summed up the reaction, commenting, “Our modern Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.”
Katelyn Brown Is No Stranger to the Country Music World
While Katelyn Brown dedicates most of her time to raising her and Kane Brown’s children, Kingsley, Kodi, and Krewe, the mother of three is no stranger to the music industry.
Katelyn is a musician in her own right. The country music star’s wife was featured on his 2022 track, “Thank God.” She has also earned a degree in music business.
Right out of high school, she began attending West Chester University in Pennsylvania. However, after her freshman year, Katelyn dropped out of college to pursue her music career.
Soon after signing a management deal with Johnny Writer, who worked with the likes of Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and NSYNC, Katelyn met Kane Brown.
Once the couple became official, Katelyn put her career on hold to join Kane on tour. During this time, Katelyn also went back to finish her degree, graduating in 2019 from Berklee College of Music’s Online Music Business program.
In an Instagram post, Katelyn celebrated her accomplishment, writing, “I’m not going to write anything too sappy, but finishing my education was the most rewarding thing I have done for myself thus far. If you are thinking whether or not you’re going to get your degree or if you can get through the years of college … DO IT!”
